The year is 2025, 3 years ago occurred a catastrophic event called The Wave hit. An underground volcano, that housed a substance called Valonium, was discovered, The Wave turned hundreds of random civilians across Japan into flesh-eating monsters known as the Dread, born from its former-self’s deepest fears and flaws.

But the government was ready, a new organization was created to combat these threats, the S.I.D.U (Special Investigations and Defense Unit). They quickly realized that while Valonium created the Dread, it can also be used to weaken and destroy them.
Now, 27 year old Nakuma Kaito, an amnesiac ex-detective defends Japan as Kamen Rider Law while investigating the mystery of why he lost his memory and why he woke up on the night of The Wave wearing a hospital-gown and a sudden genetic-mutation giving him a boosted-immunity to the strange substance
