The foreshortening on this one looks awesome and I like the way you're using the frame.

Backtracking killed Metroid for me, so I ended up liking the Metroid/ Contra clone, Turrican instead.

Thanks! I'm usually not into backtracking, but Metroid games (classic style ones that is) have this talent for making the atmosphere so haunting and intriguing that I just keep wanting to explore it. Sensless exploration is usually one of my biggest complaints in games, but I do love Metroid on NES and Super Metroid a lot.

Yeah, he does. Ridley has the most hit points out of any monster in that game. Mother Brain seemed like a joke after Ridley.
