Been doing too many speedpaints lately, wanted to get into a full painting again. Also, haven't drawn an Alien in a while! Speedpainting has definitely helped my technique though. Found myself focusing on the form and colours first before tackling the details. Also found that I could "cheat" the details more and get a nice look out of less work which is always a good thing, heh
3 hours.
So, that's enough of that. Here are my two favourite things about the Aliens franchise in one drawing! Yay!

You know it's funny, just a moment ago I found out there is a synthetic alien called Jeri who smokes a cigar and can use a pulse rifle XD

Yeah I remember that comic from when I was a kid, although never saw him use a pulse rifle. I remember he stored cigars in his inner mouth though! That was cool

I've always loved pics of Xenos wielding guns. It reminds me of Jeri from "Aliens: Stronghold" though he was a synthetic Xeno. It's much better when it's a real Xeno.
