I keep getting asked for request for free artwork.In past I haven't minded doing occasional free artwork or even doing a art trade for fun.However!
Artwork takes time a large amount of time.
I'm not greedy but damn ..............creating artwork is time consuming WORK.
At least I would like to see little bit...even a little bit..... for my hard-time-spent art-WORK.
If I ever suggest or bring up hey.......... how about a little pay for my time and effort ........how about donation/tip/ or actual pay via Paypal or Patreon....((Cricket sound Cricket sound Cricket sound Cricket sound Cricket sound Cricket sound)).
I have been asked 10 times this week for free art request and not simple convention sketch type drawings..but full on detailed artwork and one even free sequential artwork.
So from this point on don't even bother to request free artwork from me unless you know me personally or wanting a art trade.
REPEAT if you ask for free artwork you will be ignored.

Looks like you hit a breaking point. I know how you feel. What people don't understand is every artist is different. Some people do it for free because they like doing it or to get better and others do it for extra cash or try to make a living off of it. People also don't realize the work that goes into it and it is more work for some than others. I knows guys who can draw up a whole page with people and even a background in a few hours or less and others may take a few days to do the same type of peice. In short don't let it get to you. Just remember you staring drawing for fun (most likely in school when you were supposed to be doing something else). So don't let the moochers get you down. Just draw what you want and enjoy it, find what you are passionate about drawing and the money will come. It can just take a while, starving artist is not just a saying.

Yeah, it's very disheartening to actually get request knowing they just think I'm a sucker, and they clearly don't care for my artwork at all,they are just looking for freebie sketch's and free work.
Since I put up the sign on page...funny I haven't got one single art request since then.
It's sad, but I wish I would put that sign up on my page while back.
If I don't make single dime off my artwork going forward, that's fine as well.
However at least I know what my artwork is worth at that point.
I'm going keep drawing my own stuff and get better as much as I possibly can.Hopefully I can make buck 2 along the way.
