I have to save this among my favourites as well. It's so much fun, especially those couple of old ladies (?) just popping up in the back. The look of them! Haha, totally crazy.
The effect you get by putting a strong blue for the darkest shadows is also very nice. I think I will try this in some painting of my own. I've appreciated it in several pieces of art but never really tried.

Such a pleasure to look at your work! There is something about it that takes me back to my childhood- it's as though I can hear the voices of all the writers and artists from over all the years that I have loved- and still love!- in each of your pieces!!! Pyle, the Hildebrandt Brothers, Fround, Lee, Wyeth, Parish, Rackham...and on and on...and yet it still so new and fresh, your style!

I am quite in love with your artwork. The colors and (of course) characters are so sweet and peaceful, but there's that little bit of mystery there, as well. I loved all of them, but this one and the Pumpkin Dealer the most. Figured I would just comment on one
