Description
An experimental TIE variant, intended to serve in a fighter-bomber role, it has equipment that truly sets it apart. Like the TIE Defender, it's equipped with shields and a hyperdrive, while faster than a standard TIE Fighter, it cannot match the speed of a TIE Interceptor. And unlike other TIE variants, the TIE Ravager carries an on-board astromech droid, which like those with Rebel starfighters, can assist with systems, but also operate the top mounted cannons. Alongside those weapons and the standard laser cannons, its main, and perhaps most deadly feature is the housing for external weapon pods, capable of carrying proton torpedoes, concussion missiles, proton bombs, and mine laying equipment. Only six are ever known to be made, reserved for members of the 163rd Imperial Autonomous Tactical Wing, the βDark Nebula Corpsβ. Elements of its color scheme pay honor to former commander, Cyrus Nero.Related content

Aha, now I see why the Imperial pilot has a droid.

Thanks. This went through a number of redesigns but I got it to where I was satisfied with the look.
