I'm having some trouble getting this to work. I copy pasted the files I downloaded to the CNL directory, but it didn't change anything. Does it have something to do with them beginning with 02. I'm using SFIV AE. Thank You, and excellent work!

Yes, this outfit is for the alternate costume. Alternate 1 so you have to download the alternate costumes and then replace alt1 with this. I haven't been able to get it to work with the default costume.

Oh wait, you mean that you want this to replace the default costume. I don't think it is possible in SSF4AE but it is possible to hex edit the SF4 costume. I don't know how though but I've seen other people do it with some of Chun's other costumes.

Thatβs a good job. I had seen pics of the previews but Iβm usually too lazy to comment. Itβs great to see it finally released. Iβve downloaded it but Iβm not sure when Iβll have a chance to try it.
So, youβre afraid of having overdone it. The same happened to me. Then Iβd see how 'roided the other characters were and Iβd feel I was underdoing it and Iβd be going back and forth, trying to get the point I wanted. Ok, the thing that gets my attention in your mod is that the forearm looks inflated rather than strong, at least in the fighting stance (it looks good from other angles). I think that making the elbow joint wider by pulling from the inner area (and maybe pulling a little bit on the outer bone area as well) would make it look much better. Everything else looks good, though Iβd like to examinate the abs when I install the mod.
I think the best models for reference are Makoto and FeiLong (his arms were really close to Chunβs in SFA [link] ), but making Chun Liβs arms is very tricky because they have so few polygons. They were made to be a simple pair of noodles and itβs really difficult to make defined muscle shapes with that amount of polygons. Also, relying on the color and normal maps for the muscle detail leads to problems because sheβs supposed to have smoother skin than the guys that make aggressive use of the maps for muscle definition. It was lots of trial and error to get to a compromise (I think the backup files created by Piecemonteeβs explorer each time I imported new ones reached the number 70 at some point XD).

I released the 2nd version. The abs look much better. The arms are the same. I haven't been able to do better.

I've already made corrections to the abs in my 2nd version. I will release it soon. They never looke right because the upper abs and lower abs were in two different models and it was hard to match. They still don't look 100% percent how I'd like but at least the "seperation" line is pretty much gone and they look better. I decreased the conrast of the n-maps to lower how it looked like her lower rib cage stuck out too much.
I agree with everything you've said about the arms. Basically, not enough polygons makes it hard to work with. This is really my first modeling edit. For the n-map, all I did was increase the contrast of the default one. They don't look perfect, but I haven't been able to get them to look any better. If you'd like to mess around with them, feel free. I'll credit you, of course.
The butt was very easy. It also doesn't have enough polygons, but I just selected it in MM3D and sperified it. I tried other things but going back to the model were all I did was sperfify that ended up being the best one! lol!
I'm glad you like it. The next one, out in a few days will be better. Additinally, I created several muscularity options for people who don't like the buffed version.

I really don't think I'm going to be doing a Sakura one soon. My next step is to create a high rez version of the above and have different levels of muscularity. Some people like the added muscle, some people don't. Next I'm doing a Sagat skin. Hopefully, want to do a UFC inspired one.

Actually, Even if you want to make a video, hold off. I'm going to redo this model with slimmer arms and high rez textures soon. This was my first one and I've since looked into the high rez tutorial.

I just thought of one other thing: I thought I heard a rumor that there is a way to import skins into the PS3. Is that possible? If so, I could capture the video in 720p and post your 20 videos very soon. Otherwise, its back to newegg and Frys for a new system.

Yeah, I wasn't going to change it, like get rid of it and replace it. I was going to come out with another version with a seperate link. I'm glad you like it! As for the high rez textures, they will only look better on this model and the other. A few people have complained about the arms being too big so I am thinking about creating four different options for arms and letting people chose which one to import. I personally like the "athletic" look and also, if you look at how unreasonably buff the other SF4AE characters are, Chun still looks pretty normal by comparison.
Even with all that said though, it will still be awhile before I can post videos. My video card just sucks. I need to basically put together a new system in order to properly run this game and I won't be doing that overnight but I do have a youtube channel: [link] so if you want to take my model and create videos, I will post them for you. I've head the best success with .wmv format in as high as a resolution as possible but that was with MK9 videos being captured from my XBOX. I've never worked with Fraps, which is what you would probably use for this.

How do you make zoomed up pictures? I can try, for sure! I will eventually make videos but it won't be soon. I have to check out The Street Fighter Alpha movie. I've only seen the original SFII. Yeah, I won't be taking this down. My next version will include 4 different links to 4 different levels of how muscled up she looks with high rez versions of the same textures, with the original default model being the bottom and this one being the most muscles. Some people like the totally feminine look and some people go for the more muscled look. The bottom line though is that they over-powered the looks of every model in the game so in my opinion, this evens things up. Additionally, if you look at her old SF Alpha 2D sprites, she has bigger shoulders proportionally, than this model does.

in ssf4 they r proportioned right. cammy is supposed to be as ripped as she is. they have soft girls like cviper sakura and juri. makoto is a tough tomboy. i read she was muscular from doing all the hard labor for repairing the dojo. chun is supposed be the strongest woman in the world according to her bio. so yeah she needs muscle just like in street fighter alpha the movie. best sf movie btw ^^ and check this out i think it works!!
