When my dad and I were on a mini road trip three years ago, we were visiting a Boarders in Palm Springs. We had selected our books (me with a rare manga not found here), took them to the counter, and the clerk there thought we were Brits due to our "accent". Dad had to correct him by saying we were actually Australian, not English.
