Take me to infinityTrust what you feel 'cause your eyes will decieve
Take everything, all the time you can steal

.
I have spent the last two/three days watching The Clone Wars TV series. There's nothing to do when you just had a day surgery but lie around and watch stuff. (or take 6 hour naps...)
.
I had a lot of trouble figuring out who to use for this song. It was originally Spencer, but then I thought, what the heck, I'll do my Kiffar, Mal.
.
I tried doing it in the style of Clone Wars, and it was kinda fun, but her hair looks more like lekku then dreads. Baah habblbarggalhrlbbabbb.

She's cool-looking! I'm sure the hair would look better colored (although I didn't think it was lekku when I first saw it.) I love her serious expression contrasted with the emotional suggestions of the song lyrics and her speech. Really nice work--I like the thick outline too.

Awww, you're so sweet, thanks so much!
Yeah, I can't recall any characters that are in Clone Wars with dreads (they need to include Quinlan Vos!), so I kind of had to pull it out of thin air. Glad to hear I didn't make some new alien creature. o_o

You're welcome. ^_^
Gah, that would be awesome if they included Quinlan! They've got Aayla--why not?
I did see concept art for an upcoming character who had some kind of tendrils or hair on her head, I don't remember which. But It looked like dreads.

SERIOUSLY. Quinlan is and has been my favourite character. I would LOVE to have him voiced too. During the Clone Wars he was off doing shady stuff, they should encounter him briefly or something. Hrrrggg.
Oh man, I look forward to that!

Now, I haven't gotten ahold of enough of the Clone Wars comics to know his story in-depth, but I always liked Quinlan too--he's edgy but human and, well, Jan Duursema designed him and...she knows how to draw her men. XD I've done a couple fics about him. "Voiced", yeah, that's part of the appeal of the TV series, isn't it! Really hearing these people talk. (Hopefully they won't give him a silly accent. )

Well he's not in any Clone Wars comics, but he's in a quite a few story arcs from the Star Wars Republic series. And yes. He is one fine specimen of a man... (makes me wonder why I cosplayed him...)
Yeah! I was happy to hear Plo Koon and Kit Fisto talk. Plo sounded so sexy. xD I'd always thought Kel Dor would be a bit... different sounding.

Yeah, the Republic series--that's what I meant.
Have you see this pic? [link]
Yep, it was interesting how they did Plo's sortof mechanized voice. And I for one screeched a bit when Kit talked back in the 2D cartoon. XD <3 My favourite voice for him is still in the Cestus Deception audiobook though--very sibilant, hissing, as opposed to the Jamaican accent, which, while reassuring and nice enough...I just can't get over the Earth accents in Clone Wars.

Nom nom, Quin. Hot.
I didn't watch the 2D cartoon at all. I really should though. I'm not familiar with the audiobook, but it's probably better then the Jamaican accent. That just made me giggle hardcore.
But when you think about it, it's hard to create a new accent for an alien character. Earth accents are the best, if not only, way of representing and depicting the different aliens. Although they should really be consistent within the species.

^_^
Yeah, the audiobook is a bit obscure, sorry...that's the problem I have with the Earth accents though, the most serious of situations can be ruined by "lol a French Twi'lek" (yes, I prefer to pick on Aayla ). I'd rather they do distortions like on Plo's voice rather than true accents, because it certainly is difficult to create an accent! Mad difficult. (And also different parts of the planet could have different accents too.) I don't remember if they were consistent among the Twi'leks...But the director likes Earth accents--he used them for aliens in Samurai Jack too. So I survive.

Ha ha, I liked Aayla being French. x3 But then ALL the Twi'leks should be French, not just her. Not like there's very many in the show. ):
