She plucked herself from his intricate embrace.It hurt.
It hurt like hell.
The only solace she found was the knowledge that she would return.
But for now, the pain dug deep into her soul.
It seared her heart.
Nothing matters more than him.
When she closed her eyes, she could see him.
He studied her.
His eyes drank deep of her.
Goosebumps covered her flesh and she inhaled deeply.
His scent.
So like a rare spice.
Fragrant, lush... utterly addictive.
But on the other side of her closed eyelids was...
Nothing.
Knowing just how far he was from her stung.
She could feel him inside of her.
Physically, mentally... Every which way.
Doors inside her were flung open, the contents of the rooms open to him and him alone.
Nothing will ever be the same.
Nothing will ever be as beautiful as him.
Full of life... empty of everything.
As long as he is there
And she here...
Time will stand still.
Life will stand still.
But she will grow.
Blossom and evolve.
That she may be whole for him.
Anything for him.
For his intricate embrace.
