I don't know why, but from the first image you put up of her, in my mind her name has been the virgin widow. Every time I see her that still pops into my mind. What will her name be?

I can see how that names pops up in your head! I haven't thought of a name yet, I'm waiting to see how she makes me feel when I have finished her, which shouldn't be far off

All of your portrait work is incredible. If I could make one real small suggestion, the shadow on her left arm is a bit dark, and with the light reflection on her shoulder makes her shoulder have an unnatural
sharp corner. There, did my bitchin' for today. Do you have tutorials or step-by-step showing how you build up your skin colors? They are really good and life-like.

Thank you! I do see what you mean with the arm, I tend to start missing things like that when I've been staring at a painting for too long.
I don't have any tutorials, though I do post some Work in progress shots which might give you an idea of the layers I go through. I use a lot of dry brushing, and lots of thin layers to build up the colours and tones
