Funny story about this one: I was sketching it when the announcement tweet officially ending the Archie Publishing deal was posted. I was and am pretty bummed and depressed about the whole thing. The post reboot had just established the world when the hiatus struck, and I was eagerly waiting to see where they would go from there. These comics meant a lot to me as a fan and an artist who's trying to learn. Getting kick in the pants like this by Sonic made me not want to buy Forces and Mania. I still may not buy them new or at all if I don't like what I hear from IDW. Call me stubborn or spiteful, but there was just a whole world and beyond interesting (and cute) cast of characters. I don't want to see the post reboot world just tossed aside like that.

I hope IDW doesn't disappoint.
