Milo, however, had never been one known for his self-control, and the pasties of La Crème were the best he had ever eaten. One blueberry muffin was followed by two slices of marble cake, which in turn was followed by three servings of strawberry flan. He found himself barely able to swallow one thing before another cake or pie would catch his eye, becoming lost in one world of flavor after another. A small part of Milo's mind, a part not yet consumed by the ecstasies of taste, became vaguely aware of his stomach becoming round and firm, pooling into his lap as he ate. Crying out in vain, this small part of Milo's mind tried to make Milo come to his senses, to make his realize that he had eaten enough...
