Description
This was a large project in the making for quite some time, and until I finally "connected the dots" more or less for "The Beginning" story, this chart could finally be made. So as you can see, I wanted to try and connect over 30 characters over several stories and series and place them into one universe. It would better explain crossover stories and make it so you wouldn't have to just shrug and say "eh, it's non-canon." The chart also helps bring to light some story ideas that can be made in the future that have yet to be explained. Hope this all makes sense!Click here for a link to "The Beginning" story <link >

Any chance of labeling the titles a bit more?Β Some are clear, but for example which stories are in the various series (ie Chilly Corral?)

The Chilly Corral series is a tough one. It was the one series that required a lot of generational placement in order for it to make sense. But I completely understand your point. It would make it a bit easier to track/find stories that correspond to specific characters.
With that being said, are you looking for the stories that involve the other characters as well, or was it a general question? Thank you for your interest!

Both really, as the various storylines are not aligned with each other (sorted by date as they are) trying to read through any one series is a bit iffy.

Yeah, I can understand your point. A thing I try to do (if its a series) is provide a link to the next story or previous story in the description. That way when done, people can go straight to the next story if desired. I just hope I remembered to do that on all the stories! (I unfortunately may have forgotten to do that on a couple.)
But yes, as far as the chart goes it can be kind of confusing withit not aligned as such. If generally speaking you are looking for clarification on what stories go to what, I can help with that. Just give me a series and I can give you the order

What about your expansion stories, the non-anthro ones? are they connected as well?

They definitely could be. And I was going to see about developing a connection revolving around those sets of stories at some point, but I have absolutely no idea when that'll happen XP. Wanted to start off with this one and see how it turned out/how much sense it made/flowed etc.

Yeah it looks good! No worries, I totally understand! Just was curious, that's all!

This is very interesting, and it makes me think of how to present the "universe" I have in my head that explains how my various characters and stories fit together.Β

Thank you And if you're saying that you should develop the universe, you should
It takes a lot of thought and is time consuming, but it can be really cool when it's finished.

Ah yes, the old "retroactive shared universe" trick. DC initially managed to pull this with the Justice League, although integrating their later acquisitions took a Crisis or two re-ordering things so that it all fit. Marvel finally had to resort to the same a few years back, after actually keeping things relatively consistent for decades.

So the orange lines are stories that connect the two?

Yep. Orange lines refer to stories that are cross-over stories that take two different series of characters and put them into a single story.

Ah. That makes sense. Although now part of me wonders if the Anika stories take place in a seperate universe

You do have the map you had drawn up of Anika's neighborhood right? That's a universe in the making right there.
If I tried to include every character from every story I wrote into the same universe it woukd get pretty hectic XD haha. Really, this universe is of core OC's from series I've written, not necessarily any ones based on request.

That feels like it ought to be a reply to the image itself, rather than the reply to my comment that actually happened. Notifying BrowsingChipmunk Β on that basis.
