The giant sighs. "I don't eat people." Instead of grabbing you, the giant hands untie you from the pole! "All I've ever done is free the sacrifices."

The giant keeps his head bowed and looking at the grass instead of you. "Why are you saying sorry? Just run away like all the other sacrifices. That's what you want to do, right? You want to run away, right? I'm a terrible monster. No one would ever want to be near me." The giant tries his best to hold back the tears, but some giant teardrops escape and plummet to the ground.

Thankfully his hands are on his lap with his fingers on his knees, otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to reach his massive fingers. He lifts his head slightly to look down at the tiny human-like being with shock. Sure enough, there the tinies being is, hugging his index finger"Wha-what are you doing? Aren't you going to run from me?" the giant asks.

The giant's hand stops and hovers there in front of you. Normally, this is around the time that the human sacrifices start to beg, cry, or struggle. But this one does nothing.
But then he bows his head in sadness, knowing that you're just bowing your head because you feel things are hopeless. He knows you think he's some kind of monster.
"What did they tell you I'd do to you?"

"Th-then, what do you think I'm going to do to you?"

He sighs and reaches down again. He doesn't reach for you though; he reaches for the ropes that bind you to the pole and he unties you from them. It's odd how precise those giant hands and fingers are. When it's down, he puts his hands back on his lap. He keeps his head bowed. "You're free to go, just like every sacrifice that village has ever given me."

"What will you do if you can't go back home?"

He sighs. "If you have no place to go, would you like to come with me?"

He half expected you to say no, so when he heard you say yes, he stares down at her with shock. "You really want to come along with a three-hundred foot tall giant?" He places his hand down with his palm up in front of you.

He smiles down at you for two reasons: one, your tiny body climbing on the palm of his hand is bit ticklish, and two, he's just so glad to have encountered a human that's willing to stay with him. He's just been alone for so long. He stands up and slowly lifts his hand till you're level with his bare chest. "Are you comfortable?" he asks.

"Good. I've never really carried a human before. I'm just making sure you're comfortable." He continues to walk through the forest were all the trees and animals are giant sized to you, but would seem normal for a giant of Tim's size.

He notices you not talking and looks down. When he sees you looking around with the awe on your face, he asks, "Do you like the forest?"

"Then I guess you'll be even more surprised with my home. It would be the biggest home you've ever seen most likely, even though it's only one room for me."

Tim makes it into a clearing with a massive lake. Near the lake is a log cabin big enough for the three-hundred foot tall giant. "Well, this is my home. What do you think?"

"Thank you. I had to make it all by myself. It took almost a year before everything was completed, and it's only one room. I had to live in a cave until I finally had a roof over the place. Are you ready to see inside?"

"You don't need to call me sir. I'm no knight and I've told you my name is Tim. How old are you anyway?" He asks curiously as he approaches the front door to the cabin, the only door to it actually.

"That's a terrible thing for parents to tell their child, though I've been told worse by mine." He enters the cabin which is just a single room with a bed along the right wall under a window, a table with one chair in the center, a fireplace along the left wall, and a counter with cabinets cupboards in he back left corner of the room. "Since I asked your age, I might as well tell you mine. I'm actually a year younger than you, if you could believe that."

My blue eyes widen a bit at him saying that. "Well I never could of guessed it," I chuckled rubbing the back of my head.

Venus:*head is bowed but out of pure exhaustion from strugling through the rope. Wrists are raw from the constant rubbing and her ears are covered with a purple bandana*

He stops his giant hand for a moment. Usually, this was about the time when the human sacrifices start to beg and cry and try to break free. Yet this one isn't. He begins to hope that maybe this one will be different; maybe this one will see that he's not a monster. But soon he realizes that she's still frightened beyond belief; she's just too exhausted to show it.
He sighs and bows his head, feeling his depression come back to his blue eyes. He tries to hid his sadness, but his depression manages to creep into his voice, causing his voice to quiver, "Wha-what did th-they t-tell you I'd d-do to you?"

Venus:*lifts her head up and looks at the giant right in the eye, there was no fear in her eyes or being. She gift from hee goddess told her that he would not burt her purposly. She tilted her head a bit as she repeated what the village said, the accent and gruffness of the was perfect* "you will make a fine sacrafice to it. Your crime*she scoffed at this* is worthy of the pain it will inflict on you."
*she snickered at the memory of his face when she spat at him*

Because his head is bowed and turned away from her, he doesn't notice that she isn't afraid of him. He still believes she fears him. "And... and do y-you b-believe th-them?"

Venus blinks at him and tilts her head.

"Because look at me," the giant says while motioning his hands down his body. He truly is very big, 300 feet tall, and intimidating. His muscles are lean and his skin tan. He's only wearing a loincloth. "I'm... I'm a monster."

Venus smiled kindly at him and shook her head.
"Silly man," she giggled, "do i look like someone who would believee those idiots? Even i can tell that wouldn't hurt someone unless they truly deserve it."

"You really believe that?" He looks down at her with bright eyes watery from joy. "You're the first human I've ever met to feel that way about me. You don't know how long I've been waiting to here someone say something like that." He carefully reaches out and unties her from the pole.

Venus rubbed her wrists as she smiled at the giant before her.
"I wouldnt be saying it if it wasnt true." She said before a spear landed only an inch away from her.
Yelping, she turned around, a bit scared, and looked for where it came from. Her ears twitched from underneath the bandana as she looked.

They see villagers in the distance, coming to make sure Venus dies. Taking action, the giant quickly, but gently plucks her up and sets her on his other cupped hand. With her safely on her palm, he cups his other hand over her and then hurries into the forest, inadvertently bouncing her around in his hands from the run.

Venus struggles to stay in one spot as he ran, but it wa extremely difficult to do. At one point, the bandana slipped off her head, revealing her cat ears.

When he feels that he's deep enough in the forest that the humans won't follow him, he slows dorm to a stop and lifts his cupped hand off her. "Are you alright? I didn't hurt you, did I?" he asks with concerned eyes, barely noticing her cat ears.

"Yeah I'm fine." Venus said, stratching the back of her head, looking back at the distance he ran.
"Wow," she said, her ears flicking,"thats some distance."
