This is a scenario I came up with a year ago where Twilight Sparkle and Weiss Schnee switched places in their respective universes.

Twilight Sparkle:
I envisioned her being an equine Faunas with a Arab- Chinese appearance instead of the usual
Caucasian or Indian look. The outfit that would combine a typical mage outfit seen in fantasy to
represent her power, while the school uniform exemplify her knowledge and inexperience.
The best of Point of Divergence would be in the first Equestria Girl's movie where the portal
teleports Twilight to the statue at the front of Beacon Academy during episode 2 volume 1. It
would be here that she would probably first meet Blake since they both faunas and enjoy books.
I see her semblance as being far more developed because her magic was converted into one.
It's abilities are somewhere between Weiss glyphs and Glynda's and magic.

Her family be founded by Starswirl the Bearded himself, as a way of explaining
the inherited Albinism I believe her extended family shares in the main show. Along with the
reason behind her family's wealth and prestige in the study of magic, allowing her to become
Princess Celestia's student because of abilities.
Like Twilight she will be the Element of Magic, but given that Weiss is much more confidant and
meaner, she will have much more strained relations with Twilight's friends and fellow elements at
the start. Although it could be expected to have an analogue to this scene from Red vs Blue
