Model edit teaser!Honestly, I got bored and decided to make another edit, inspired by Dragon Ball Z.
This is one of the many ideas in my head, where Shadow wants to settle the rivalry between him and Sonic, so he goes to with the drastic measure of falling under the influence of the Majin's power and literally kills as many people just to provoke Sonic into fighting him.
So basically almost the same as Vegeta, when he became desperate to fight Goku. If I could figure out how to flesh the idea out a little more, then you would have a great origin for the corruption.
