This isn't what I was expecting when we turned on the Blacklights, but not as gross as I was expecting.

Love this kind of stuff. Hard to find of much of it. Very nice.

Ghosts are in many ways the scariest of all supernaturals, because you can't fight them with stakes or silver bullets...once they get in your head, you're doomed!

Have you ever read Oscar Wilde's "The Canterville Ghost" by Oscar Wilde? More humorous than scary, but there are some eerie descriptions of the many disguises he used to frighten people into madness and/or death...

You know, I take a lot of pride in the fact that, over the many long, decomposing, years of my undead existence I have made a real, genuine effort to try and read as much of the "great literature" as I could. But I must admit, Wilde is one writer I haven't gotten around to yet. I know, I know, terrible oversight, huh. I will get to him one of these days. Believe me, old Oscar has been beckoning me to his stories for years.

You mean you've never even read The Picture of Dorian Gray yet? It's about a cursed painting, man! Right up your alley!!!

I know the story of course just never read the book itself

It's an elegant, decadent, subtly terrifying cautionary tale!!

I'm sure it is. I will get around to that one sooner or later.

Wonderfully eerie and frightening. I love the details, colors, lighting, and movement. You captured the expressions brilliantly.

Awesome and super creepy.
The diaphanous sheet was an appropriate addition. haha.

Thank you! Yeah, I guess I have a "thing" for diaphanous fabrics on the female form. Seems to turn up in a lot of my illustrations and comics. Must be all those horror movies I watched as a kid, featuring female vampires (or victims) in whispy thin nightgowns.

I like this design, it makes me think of the thing that attacked Mrs. Freling/JoBeth Williams during the last act of Poltergeist.

I love the layered whispy glow effect you gave the ghost. It reminds me of that thing from the original Poltergeist that comes out of the portal but without the crazy white mane of hair.
Also the girl's pose and expression are perfect. Well done!

I take that as a compliment! I love that crazy ghost monster thing at the end of Poltergeist.

You should, it was meant as one
I know that movie had some epic ghosts in it. The sequels never really captured the freaky scary looks of the originals.

That's what happens when you sleep naked in see-thru, silk sheets young lady. No modesty hehehe. I actually really like this one. Amazing job sir

Thanks!! Yes the girls in my illustrations, with their carelessly sexy behaviors, are just asking for the wrong kind of attention from creeps, weirdos, and monsters!! Haha.

Outstanding! The ghost is truly awesome. The skeletal hands and flowing shroud are remarkable. Love the terrified girl, wonderful expression! She's also very sexy, I love the shear sheets!
