And now, presenting, Hera's updated design for the upcoming Thunder Woman comic, courtesy of the artistic talents of Bilcassonato

I've been wanting to move in this direction for about a year and a half now, roughly. While Hera's previous design is a favorite of mine, I always had little quibbles with it. I wanted her cape to sell the peacock imagery even more strongly, with accurate feathers, a bigger, more regal shape, and more numerous, prominent featuring of the peacock feather eyes. And given the colors of a male peacock, I wanted Hera's bodysuit to hew closer to that instead of her being all green everywhere. Plus, it's a more royal color, and fits in that Ditko-esque "green/purple" color coding for a villain.

It took a bit of work, but eventually Bilcassonato and I found the sweet spot in achieving my goal of perfecting Hera's design in time for the comic.
