Christmas is coming soon Reason enough to make a winter edition of my Local Kitty Market artwork

Similar to the Autumn edition of my Local Market painting, I made a copy of my first Local Market painting on watercolor paper with the help of carbon paper. I added some winter details and gave the kitties some Christmas accessories. This time there are more little kitties. They are enjoing the snow and the Christmas presents. The mom is having a cup of warm chocolate.

After finishing the details, I colored the painting with watercolors. Then I finally made some accentuations with some colored pencils, markers and fine liners. I added the snow with white acrylic paint.

All in all the painting took hours and two days to finish it. I think all in all it gives a positive winter feeling and I am happy with it . I hope the artwork can give you guys this feeling too. Wish you all a peaceful Advent season
