It started small with a subtle rumbling, His pen making a faint tapping noise as it jumped up and down all over his desk, but the vibrations grew and they grew fast.
Next thing he knew, his desk was making the small beeping noises. Warning him of the locking mechanism that was connecting the desk to the ground, his Neverwest ID in his arm sensing the rumbling and interfacing with the high tech desk. Electromagnetic locks cementing the desk legs onto the ground, but even with these locks, he had to hold on tight. He was almost being rattled out of his seat by the power of the event. Someone must have been having a bad day on the lower floors. The shaking reached a crescendo when whatever it was let loose one more powerful blow, shaking the whole school and even making out teacher stop his lesson.
Mr. Sailor never stopped a lesson ever.
