This is a terrible review. Please don't make these sorts of critiques again.

I just like to help others, that's all. And could you explain to me why it was terrible? I only put my honest opinion, that's it.

i made this plush ^.^ and idk if you saw, but i did mention she's brighter in person. i had to take pictures inside due to the weather, U.U i hate taking pictures inside,
and i made her...
?
lol
and there are only so many shades of minky, so if i made her body the bright yellow color in her mane, she would have had hair the same color as her body, or orange and red hair U.U
but hey, having an off color for her coat isnt so bad, if it's the only thing right?

True. I just thought it should look more like the show.. For some reason.. Anyways, you did a really good job on making her! I noticed that you had more plushies, so I'm assuming you made those too.

That's cool. How hard is it to make them? Besides some of the coloring, it looks spot on.

um, developing a pattern is the part that takes the longest,
but once you're used to your pattern, i made big mac in.. 2 days?
its not too tough ^.^ and you can order iron on eyes, if you want to make a plush but cant/dont want to buy an embroidery machine (but if it's something you want to get into, there are brother embroidery/sewing machines that go for right around 300 bucks brand new on ebay)

This is very good, and extremely cheap for the quality (I would expect 5-600 dollars). Alas, Sunset Shimmer isn't my favorite, I hope you make more!

Awesome, haven't seen one of these in a while. Is this the skinny or the original pattern? She looks great, the only thing I'd say is that the snout could be a little bit shorter and less rounded at the top. Good luck with the auction.

but they're yucky U.U
i do make smaller plushies for cheaper. this one's just a large size, which is why she's more expensive. more material.

Temping, but I will holdout.
How much stress can the fabric(mink i assume) in the legs take? I would be so worried that it would rip or something.

How much stress can the legs take? Even in that picture, I would fear that the legs would rip or be damaged in some way.

BubbleButtPlush In reply to Jfluffy [2014-11-20 02:49:20 +0000 UTC]
oh, i didnt even see the part about the minky until now.
are you asking because of the pic of her laying down?
..... i litterally dont think i would physically rip minky. so..
pretty sure it's safe. you could potentially rip a seam before hurting the minky. but i usually do a stitch that goes over the seams three times.
it goes forward, backward, forward, forward, backward, forward.
and that's only two stitches.

Jfluffy In reply to BubbleButtPlush [2014-11-20 03:01:14 +0000 UTC]
That's good to know. It's been one of my biggest fears with my plushies that if I were to damage them in that way. Also, please forgive my ignorance about the material, sewing is something I never got deep into so I am unaware of the physical properties of any material.

BubbleButtPlush In reply to Jfluffy [2014-11-20 03:10:15 +0000 UTC]
It's okay! Lol low quality minky is stretchy. But my stuff is from theminkyboutique.com its very high quality. Thick and not stretchy at all. So it wont be deformed or ripped by any normal sort of cuddles or squishes. Maybe I should make a video of myself trying to rip a piece lol

Also, random question. Into computer games at all?

Lol make a video of me carrying my ponies by their ears and tails. Swing those fuckers around. Then do it to a plush I bought from someone else and have its ears rip off lol
I play maple story on occasion. Other than that... Sims 3 lol I only have my laptop, if I had a desktop (or a house stable enough to own a desktop) I would probably play more.

I have the (royalty free) music for that then! incompetech.com/music/royalty-…
There's still plenty of games that could be played on a laptop, www.gog.com/ has been a great source for old, but still magnificent games they're updated to work on modern machines. Plus I know of a few open source remakes of games like Red Alert.
