I find this to be a really appealing image. The model is lovely and nicely posed, as well as nicely illuminated for a start. I might have added a backlight for a bit of balance. I just love black backdrops, too.
One thing you might want to be aware of is that, in this medium, edges will generally be very (too) sharp to look natural. This is one of the major areas where postwork comes in; careful use of a convolve/blur (not to be confused with smudge) will take the edge off of edges, so to speak, nicely "flattening" the image a bit. Don't get into the habit of not doing postwork. Careful quality control and postwork will be what elevates your work above the mediocre. Postwork is not an option in this medium; it's a foregone conclusion... like buffing out fresh paint.

The light to her rear could have been more of a backlight. That way it could set off her hair as well, which tends to disappear into the shadows.

thank you for the feeback, it's very appreciated.
i just tried the settings from this tutorial to make a 'soft' light.
but yes, backlights make better renders.
