I didn’t want a car when I was 16.…I didn’t want a pony when I was 16, I didn’t want to have a huge party when I was 16.….I just wanted Winston.

Winston, the Life Sized Mannequin, 18 years old, rotted away in the front of an Art shop I regularly buy my paints from. Every time I passed him, I would always wish he where mine. Such an interesting thing he was. But 18 year old Winston, was broken and old, a rather large crack ran the length of his back. One of his arms never properly stayed up strait, and he had been banished to the back of the store. Poor old Winston, the life sized Mannequin, doomed to forever be covered in dust, never having been used for actual art.
For my 16th Birthday, I got a surprise visit, from Winston…Now Winston was mine at last, A nice home to be used, to be treated kindly.
Although my bird did not take to kindly to Poor Winston’s Finger, and took a chunk right out of him.
From then on, Winston stayed with me. He’s really quiet, but he’s got one hell of a personality, and that’s why I’m proud to present….

I have been developing thr Mannequin project for about 2 years now, and starting it, will be this picture.

I have been thinking about this for a long time, and The Mannequin Project is what is going to get me into My art collage. Because Me and Winston are a team.
