Last time I was in this place, there wasn't any paintings like that...it's sad.

yeah, this place seems to be degrading really fast
but it's still interesting, having all these different shades of decay, in a kind of way

Très intéressante... j'aime la teinte foncée- il ajoute une autre atmosphère a l'image.

This is really beautiful, I've always loved abandoned building. I love the lighting in this :3

I can't help but wonder what the wall behind you looks like!
A nice isolating shot, feels like you're on hte spot at the centre of the stage. Superb as always

Unfortunately, the picture I have of it does not satisfy me at the moment and I'm not sure I will post it...
What is really striking with this place (and here, I'm talking about beelitz in general) is how much damage has been done to it in only several years... I've seen a lot of pictures after I came back from my trip, and this theater, for example, was in pretty good conditions like 4 years ago.
But, well, that's life, I guess

I know what you mean, there was a mill near me abandoned for 2 years and there's nothing left attached to the walls, no space without graffiti no unbroken windows. Such a shame, it would have been so beautiful before then.

What disturbs me the most is that there really is a lot of gratuitous destruction, I can understand thieves stripping away copper cables and such, but the reason why people destroy things is really obscure to me.
The shame is that, because of those people, photographers and urban explorers are running into lots of trouble to visit some places : security guards, planks on every door and window...

Tell me about it... I don't expect a place in good condition, i'm lucky if I find somewhere that's only got minor fire damage.
Its the primal nature exposing itself in people when noone else is looking. As always the minority fuck it up for the majority.
Take photos and leave footprints is all I do.

Same here
I guess all we can do is being quicker than these people and keep the memory of the place as we saw it

Yeah that's all we can do.
Nothing is abandoned these days without security though. Ain't like the old days
