So this is an unfinished portrait that I'm working on. this awesome photo is from Fantasy-Craft's Deviant page. Bellow it is what I've sketched so far. this is about half an hour gridding and 1.5 hours of sketching. Of course it's not finished but I've decided to go ahead and post what I've completed so far to see if anybody has any thoughts or advice that might be helpful.

Also the way I got the photo gridded was with this helpful website: sporkforge.com/imaging/grid.ph…

I figure other's might find it useful. If anybody can tell me of an even better tool for gridding pictures please tell me.
