this is my youngest cousin. Leszek.

in this photograph he was 8 or 9. first time visiting indonesia.

let me tell you this. he's a very active kid. actually over summer he managed to run 2 yorkshire terriers to death. he just kept throwing the ball until the dogs passed out from exhaustion. and he came over to play soccer with us.

we went to watch the sunset on the beach.

those who know balinese sunsets, i'll spare them the words. those who don't. you need to see it to believe it. breathless.

so this destroyer of yorkies arrives at the beach.

it was as if all that energy was thrown out.

he looked out into the sunset. and just stood there.
