After a really long time Gaster is finally free. He's not only free from the void and able to return to a physical state but monsters have also been freed from the underground. Gaster has a lot of catching up to do with his sons and he also has the opportunity to see the surface again. As such, he gets the opportunity to spend some time surrounded by nature and the people that are important to him. Including Gen, who selflessly gave him a piece of her soul so that he could come back.
