Description Throw some Viking Runes into your Fan Art! Here's a little rune index you can use at your will. Feel free to take from it what u wish. Remember...there are MANY different styles of runes from many different cultures so don't u go telling me they're wrong. I've been using this particular style for years now (ya, i now, what a nerd). Anyways...ya, here ya go!

I expect to see some from the club

Thanks , though I've found similar ones:

(First link is the preview and the second one is the font file)

1: [link] and [link] : Missing some letters but the rest are the same

2: [link] and [link] : Exactly the same but looks kinda weird...

haha thats really cool actually. I've used runes for many years myself. in fact the version i know of is a bit different from this version, but as you stated there are several versions of the runic alphabet used in different cultures all over Europe and North America. ^^ the version i know is more commonly known as dragon script (not trying to be ironic haha)

if u go through my art (especially my time Keepers comic) you can see me using runic for notes and such as well XD

DRAGON SCRIPT!!!!! HOW THE HELL DID YOU MEMORIZE THAT ONE ... HOLY SHIT that is so flippin complicated like one letter has like very detailed lines and shapes in it i could never use it unless i would like to spend 5 minutes writing one letter in it.

SollinFaolan In reply to Bunkinator [2010-04-20 23:00:29 +0000 UTC]

thats a good question. I would have to look it up. but i dont think its the same version. The version i know is a very simplistic style. the ones from the LOTR novels are very complex and i cant read them very well. ^^"

but they might come from the same version at some point. :3 Im curious XD i have to go find out now heehee

*stares at them for 10 minutes* I have also been using this exact same runes for years! I think my X and D are diff though. XD I use them to write stuff in a journal so no one knows what it says...unless they know about the runes. Guess they aren't so secret after all.
