From shadows in your mind we spring, who knows what form we’ll take
A brush of wings or half seen forms, then comes our escape
When we have gone from sight and sound, and look out from within
Imagination comes to our aid, now let the fun begin
Your mind we craft in subtle ways, much to your dismay
Reality seems shape and twist, while we are at play
Dally in our world a while, you may find what you seek
Mundane we banish from your eye, we glamour ore the bleak
This is our gift to mortal man, our song may leave you weak
Cling to the gifts we chose to show, and pray what you see, you keep
No one knows where next we’ll spring, or how long we’ll chose to stay
We chose the when and where we go, and what gifts to give away
