Origin: Born in France, Amelie was a renowned ballerina and wife to Gerard--an ally to Overwatch and spearhead against the Talon terrorist organization. However, Talon sought to use her to get close to Gerard and kidnapped her. Overwatch successfully retrieved her, but to the horror of many, she killed her husband no less than two weeks later. Talon had tampered with Amelie's memories and suppressed her personality until she was a shadow of who she used to be. Returning to Talon, she would undergo further procedures, which turned her skin blue, her blood cold, and the once-elegant dancer into a master assassin. Amelie was gone, and the Widowmaker was born.
