In the world of wrestling, 2002 had to be one of the greatest years in Pro wrestling history. 2 other wrestling companies like ROH: Ring of Honor wrestling and and TNA: Total Non-Stop Action were founded and created. Meanwhile in the WWE, WWE Creative had one of their greatest years ever. Brand Split was born, Rock vs Hogan at WrestleMania X8, SmackDown was getting popular which featured the legendary SmackDown Six, Brock Lesnar had a rookie year from destroying legends to King of The Ring to WWE Champion, debuts like John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio were all patience to get main event pushes and RAW... well, RAW was good but wasn't that good because the HLA and Katie Vick storylines and HHH burying the competition. 2002 had ups and downs. Mr. Perfect had a failed return, nWo had a failed run, Austin wasn't popular and had to leave the WWE during the year. Vince McMahon changes the name from the world wrestling federation to the world wrestling entertainment believing that The World Wrestling Federation is now the past. They made Hogan the champion, the first half of the year was so weird, at least not just the first half but the entire year had the best matches and the best moments.
