Description

A distorted, ugly screech suddenly sounds through your Unifier's walkie-talkie as it buzzes to life.

"Uh, hey guys," says a very out-of-breath V, "The good news is? New monster to befriend!"

You hear a loud crash and a young voice screaming something you can't quite make out, interjected with incredibly crude expletives. Rapid footsteps. Probably V's. This doesn't sound good.

"The bad news... Uh, they're not very friendly!"

Louder, closer hollering erupts from the background. It sounds like the lyrics of that one really loud song that you've been hearing blasted all over the city, now that you think about it. V's footsteps suddenly stop as their back hits a brick wall. Probably an alley. They won't be safe for long, if they're even safe now.

"So, anyways." Faint shff shff of V dusting their shirt off. "I was in this cafe downtown. It was a pretty cool place. I finished my drink n' walked outside 'n I see this goblin leaning against the wall, all cool-like, n' I complimented them on their spikes, of course, because you can't be punk without being nice to other people," You hear feet against metal. V climbing the fire-escape to some unsuspecting person's building. "And I think they probably misheard me, because now I'm being chased down a dark alleyway, with this teenage mutant furry punk chuckin' bags full of trash 'n old cardboard boxes at me."

The stomping footsteps in the background return again, with increased fervor. V makes a groaning noise and mutters a swear under their breath.

"Well, I'd better get escaping. Hopefully they won't have to cart my body back to HQ in one of these nasty trash bags." They sigh dramatically. Wings flapping in the background, probably Baby coming in for a landing on the roof of wherever V is downtown.

"My ride just arrived. Let's pray the gremlin can't fly. I'm gonna get back to HQ and take a LONG shower." You can almost hear the grimacing smirk on their face as they chuckle. "I'm leaving this to one of you guys. Hurry and befriend this monster!"
