So guys, I would *love* to make your beautiful yet pitiful castle about "b3ST1alitY" fall in this comment, 'cause I want to open a *civil* argument with all of ya teens.
But, let's start with our Princess Elise.
Lot's of you say Elise is worthless, useless and she didn't a *single useful thing* in Sonic 2006. You say she isn't good, she has a shitty personality and she is selfish in every single way possible. Well, let's analyze Elise character.
Elise is a human, and plenty of you have problems with humans in Sonic franchise for no apparent reason. So, you would have complained about Eggman, Maria, Gerald and Nega too, but guess what? You didn't! Wow, why nobody does that but with Elise yes?

That, my dearest friends, is a stupid reason. You have BUGS to discuss about, why don't you talk 'bout 'em? Why don't you talk about Eggman's design? Why don't you understand that Elise is a *princess*, not a *fighter*?!
If I were her, I would have cried instantly, even after "my" father's death. Don't come here and say "oh well, I would have done something!" because is what Elise tried to do! She wanted to help Sonic! She tried to escape *alone*, and she wouldn't have stopped even if Amy wasn't in the ship! Or did you forget about that? 'Course you do, it's obvious that you mention all of the bad things about a character you don't like for making them more disliked.
Elise is a sweet young woman, who cares about her people and who lost her father, but for his wish and for the sake of the planet, she never cries until Sonic's "death".
Of course she loved him! He made her life better, because he thought she was important and she felt it! She felt important and loved with Sonic and by him! Even you - if you're not aromantic - would have been fallen in love with him.
And here comes the "bestiality".
Sonelise is _NOT_ a *BESTIALITY*. Not just because Sonic is an anthro, but because we encounter this bestiality only when a human has a fetish for *animals*. Not anthros. Animals.
Because, would you say Shadaria is bestiality? Would you say Jessica x Roger Rabbit is bestiality (I remind you, Roger and Jessica are married)? Would you say Elisa Esposito and the alien in "The Shape of Water" are affected by this fetish called "zoophilia"? No. Lot's of you won't.
So, why you think Sonelise is bestiality?

Sonelise is NOT BESTIALITY. How many times do I have to say it? You Sonic fans are so hypocritical. If someone ships Shadow and Maria it's fine, but if someone ships Sonelise it's the spawn of satan?Β
It may come as a shocker to you, but Elise did nothing wrong. She was kidnapped, she brought Sonic back to life (do you people really thinks she kissed him because she had a dead antrho fetish? Are ya'll serious?) and despite what she said ("I don't care what happens to the world!") she still BLEW OUT THE FLAME ANYWAY. That's what makes her selfless. She would rather stay with Sonic, but objectively, chooses to bring the world back despite what she said. If she never blew out the flame, then yeah, I guess, sure, but since she does, it makes what she said obsolete.Β
The point of Elise; She's REALISTIC. THAT'S THE POINT. Getting mad at her for not doing anything in her hostage situation is like getting angry at an untrained armed civilian for not taking out a well known terrorist. In the end, Elise is human, a monarch, and has no experience in fighting. I don't care about what you'd think you'd do if someone blatantly threatened you in front of everyone you cared about; Elise did the realistic thing, because that's the point of her character.
Elise is a sweetheart, she's beautiful and kind and develops a crush on the person who made her feel important. What's the problem?
But of course, none of ya'll would be shouting "nECROBEASTIALITY!1!" If AMY did the kiss, right?

I totally agree with your opinion. Sometimes I ask myself why people are controversial and disagree with themselves when they talk about stuff like "bestiality" in Sonic's fandom.
I don't ship Sonelise, but I like how they interact with each other. Elise is really a caring and sweet character, and I'm sure Sonic likes these qualities about her personality.
Personally, I ship a couple with a human character and an anthro character, but people sometimes insults me indirectly when they say that ship is a no-sense.
So, I feel you. This "bestiality" doesn't exist, because it's uncorrected. Bestiality is when a human is sexually interested in an animal, not anthro!
