using the paint brush tool and coloring it in as if i was using colored pencils XD and then going back over it with darker n lighte shades with the smudge tool for shadows and lighting XD

Oh yeah haha. I would paint it all then erace what i didnt want. Make sure you use the wand on the layer the drawing is on.
