For a photo like this, I would sacrifice my trousers as well. It is a wonderful view, I find the composition of the shot particularly commendable.

The clouds looked ominous, and it looked like they were dropping some water - but I had no idea of what was coming. It was about a 25 minute walk to shelter and I was totally soaked (with the exception of what the rain jacket covered). Still a fun adventure...
