With its desaturated look, the haze and the sunbeams it looks like a mystical place. I am not really a fan of cold, but this shot is so utterly beautiful, that I would love to be there

Mystical it is, as, was. The haze around the trees was the precursor to the blown snow that shielded the roads end view. It was there in an instant - and cold it was!
