Description
Having some fun and testing ideas with white seamless, black solids angles and lines...I don't usually shoot on white (as you well know) - this was an interesting challenge to subtract light instead of add it.

Thanks Jim! I like the result - but I guess I'm just a "dark" person

Being a "dark" person can be a good thing sometimes. I love the mysterious feel from not only covering her face, but also the blurred background shadow. The crisp lines and contours of her body provide a powerful effect. The sharp contrasting colors are beautiful; however, the model's skin is so flawless she almost looks like a doll. I'm not sure whether she is real or not. Again, a dark mystery.

I wasn't sure I should use the term "dark" - it's really more of my technical preference in "how to photograph" (but might go back to the fact that I ma semi-nocturnal?) -
Photographically you can ADD light or SUBTRACT Light in a situation - and I like to start with dark area and add light to it to highlight/frame what I see.
The concept started (as most do) with a random vision - and I'm lucky enough to know a couple people who will do pretty much anything I suggest to see what it looks like. Her physique is unedited - and her skin is only marginally edited - it's just that nice all the time. She's 100% real. (No plastic, no piercings, no tattoos! LOL!)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts - it's always interesting to read/hear what people think!
