For me it has problem with readability, very hard to read such a blog. Various unneeded elements fight for attention, not enough white space. Some icons look blurred and messy, fonts too small in some places and so on.

I also don't like the noisy background and the divider between the content area and the footer should be cleaner, it loooks to blurred. But beside those two things the site looks awesome!

The divider should be more sharp, that's what I wanted to say. And you are right DA's background makes it look odd, but the live version is great!
