Description EDIT 2: The Waifu2x upscale was outdated, so I used Topaz's AI Gigapixel for better results.

EDIT 1: When looking back on my old attempt to restore the title card, I was legitimately depressed on how it was treated. The way I've up-scaled the screenshot to 1080p just blurred a bit of detail that would pretty much lead into DNR'd Blu-ray territory. I never thought of this until now, or perhaps the input image size is inferior. So for this update, using the original size image of the same screenshot from Carnivol's Twitter, I applied a better up-scale in 2K using Waifu2x, as well as a more natural color correction. If you notice however, no brightness on the frame surrounding the title logo is applied, since I think that was inherent on the original 16mm print.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
Yet another glimpse of the forthcoming newer restoration has come to fruition. Just found from an early tweet on Carnivol's Twitter account, is a screenshot of the title card from the 1986 Super Mario anime "The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach" captured from a transferred 16mm print. And just for good measure, I up-scaled to 1080p using Waifu2x, and color corrected with Adobe Photoshop.

Credit to Stian Schultz (AKA Carnivol) for the original screenshot.

Created with: Waifu2x/AI Gigapixel (up-scaling), Adobe Photoshop
