You did a very good job, I like both this one and Cammy!
Keep drawing like this, I hope to see more SF characters in this style. Great!

No precisamente. Supongo que es una mala costumbre. No suelo usar colores saturados.

I've seen that figure. if it´s what I´m thinking [link] it´s very good.
And I agree about the girls. in fact I remember Hannah from "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs", or Tyris Flare from "Golden Axe" [link] all are unique

Very nice. However I think Samus was the first female game character. But I still think Chun is a better choice. XD

Well I'm both a Nintendo fan and a Chun-li fan.
But I'm more of the Chun-li fan. XD
So I think Chun deserves the name "Leading Lady of Games".
I would like to see those two fight though...wait, I did: [link]

a-haaa!! Isn't easy to know who win. After all, samus do not have her suit... But if he is so agile whit her heavy suit, with out it surely will give a good fight.
i like the Nintendo too, Recently started playing a Castlevania´s Game for Nes (After Street Fighter, Castlevania is one of my favorite games. I have it in most versions)
I'm preparing a drawing very, very good (modestly) from one of his characters. You can see it very soon.

Both girls made their way as the top females in games. Samus being the first playable girl in a game, and Chun-Li being the only girl in a game dominated by men.
Both are highly recognizable.
Castlevania was always a good game series. I've played all the Nintendo versions. Castlevania 64 was very cool.
The levels were kinda based off the NES versions. XD
And I look forward to your pictures.

Yes sir. I'm still playing Castlevania 64. I like Reinhardt Schneider (although in the drawing covers not have well portrayed, I like much more the design in 3-d inside the game)
By the way, I´m stuck in the clock tower. I come to the Chasm of the two towers (the two are equal, you get to the roof using a lift) And there, there is only a gap around me. I have no way out
...Whatever, i'm doing a drawing of simon belmont. (I think that is the first hero who had Castlevania), i´m not sure because I've seen for the first time in the game of PS1, even before to knowing that existed for Nes.
so far, I achieved what I was looking for. But still I must do everything else, hehe. And then I will give it color.
you're right about chun li, she and Samus have a major role for the female gender in the history of the games. Although for different things.
I would not put one, above the other. Would be an injustice

TheToonDevil In reply to C-sar [2009-07-24 18:47:38 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, the clock tower is by far one of the toughest in the game. Other then carrie's Crystal stage.
Simon is infact the first character in the NES game. I found a realy neat figure of him at a local anime shop.
Very detailed, very cool. They even included some scars from battle.
And both girls have played major roles for females. If it were not for them, you wouldn't have had Laura Croft, Mai Shurania, or any of the other females leading their own games.
So I guess I shouldn't chose one over the other for the title. Since they both are very cool, and made a big impact on gaming (these two girls would be hard to forget).
