I don't think he even wore his glasses in the past episode either! 8O
I think he's better off without them.

Well, she is pink and has "ette" in the name so I am sure Nintendo had making a female Toad in mind.

That brings up something else actually: Was Mario Kart: Double Dash!! made after Sunshine? If so, then there may have been a possibility that Toadsworth would have been Toad's kart partner instead of 'Dette. Imagine if it had been that way.
