meet Wannabe, a young brumby x warmblood filly. the poor girly doesn't know who her father is lol she's a bit of a mutt. she's very cute though!
she was up for auction, but due to a lack of interest (and a whole lot of personal interest lol) i've decided to keep her!

Personality: Wannabe is a lovely little filly with a pure heart. She is a quick learner and a fast thinker, with a decent dose of bravery alongside. When presented with new objects, she tends to initially become frightened - her time spent in the mountains with the brumbies certainly did not bring her face to face with the super duper scary plastic bag monsters - but she overcomes her fear swiftly, replacing it with curiosity. Wannabe is always willing to listen to instructions and has a strong desire to please those around her (horses and humans alike). This can make her a bit of a pushover around horses who like to throw their weight around, so do try and keep her away from those with uhh,,, strong personalities. She can become quite clingy, especially if you feed her one of her favourite treats, sugarcubes. She will always be there, day and night, watching and waiting for you to give her one of her sugary snacks. Though endearing, Wannabe does sometimes forget the concept of personal space and has accidentally stood on Rhea's toes in the past. As a young light horse, this doesn't present an issue at the current point in time. However, it is recommended that she is encouraged to keep her distance to prevent accidents from occurring when her weight increases.

History: Wannabe arrived at Currawong Estate as a young filly alongside a herd of brumbies. Although her brown-ish coat did not stand out amongst the group of dust-covered horses, her fluid movement and striking refined beauty caught the eye of Rhea, the estate owner. Brumbies in general are typically attractive horses, with surprisingly lovely conformation for a wild horse breed. However, this filly was something else for sure. Upon closer inspection of the herd, a neighboring farm's dutch warmblood stallion (who was reported missing a few years prior) was found amongst the mob. It is theorised that this horse is her sire, though upon requesting permission to perform a test to prove this theory, the stallion's owner declined - apparently having a brumby cross foal would be a stain on his perfect warmblood's list of offspring. Upon receiving training in ground work, Wannabe has revealed a strong potential for a career in dressage through her willingness to listen, desire to please and lovely movement. However, she does have an aptitude for cross country as well, due to her bravery and decent scope.
