Hmm; "Flash?" would that be grenade or panty? XD
Made this as a trade for but I liked it so much that I went alot further then I needed to I guess XDD
Am even continuing this scenario and might tie it in with some other deviations in the future; wait and see...
Oh btw: said he missed some speed effects in my art; well I hope these will make up for it
EDIT: Massive edit; I'm now updating these files to get a
smoother feel to my work, I hope everyone appreciates this
Edit 2: apparently didn't work, gonna try it again.
Edit 3: changed the eye since it was bugging me
Edit 4: fattened up the beams to correspond to the next page

I just noticed...darling, where's her left thumb?

I took it out, her fingers are just curling around the beam and thought I'd have it obscured like she's still in motion with it not grabbing the beam yet :3
Its also a play on the perspective, but if it dosn't work, then I can always put it in, wasn't sure about if I should; what do you think?

Well sorta jumping away, I wanted the skirt and hair to hint that she's moving upwards to grab the beam. :3 hope it all makes sense but adding the thumb would still just be a minor edit really :3

I think it's best to add the thumb if she has just grabbed onto the beam and hasn't really propelled herself fully yet, but even then the thumb should only be on there partially and sort of not touching even...course, that's difficult to do. @.@

okay.. I'll think about it cause yeah she hasn't yet grabbed the beam, she's approaching it and placing her fingers over it.. then again, the final decision might come with the next picture as the hand will be a much more crucial part of the whole pose then.

well in the sketch I've drawn, her hand is missing for now since I'm not sure of the scale -as before, this series was made with the background and foreground being puzzled together as separate pieces, I realized that to tweak the angle, I'd have to paint the hand in later, its hard to get the scale right through plotting so I hope this'll do the trick :3- in other words; we'll see what I decide once the next picture has been made ;3

hmm...would it be slightly easier to have drawn both at around the same time, though working on the background more and still have a skeleton of her there as an indefinite pose for the scene? Iunno, that's what I usually do. o.o If I do a background that is. ;3

nooo its not that, and its not rushed even if it was fast, more like I didn't have a clear enough an idea of what it would be like when I drew it; though the sketch has horrible flaws though, it looks like its got alot more character, maybe I should put that in my scraps

no she's holding it from an odd angle, it took me a long time to get it right cause obviously she has to aim it, absorb the recoil and jadda jadda.. so I went with re-sketching it 10 times and then just went "awww what the heck" I covered her hand up entirely on purpose cause it just wouldn't look good
