Now ,it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, that I'm a big fan of Batman, especially the old WB cartoon, the 80s-90s Tim Burton movies and the Nolan-verse ones.
What should be a bit of a surprise, is that, for someone with a quite nerdy collection of "Batmobiles" I never really found them that practical, even the "Tumbler" - and I always felt that Batman's chosen mode of transportation, should be to -quite obviously- take to the skies...

Yeah, I've always liked the Batwings/Batplanes more and felt that, to combat more organized crime, he'd have to go for something stealthy and yet, quite heavy hitting.
Long story short, I decided to design my own "Batwing" based heavily around the Tim Burton movie appearance, the cartoon version and a bit of random inspiration from a Star Trek DS9 "Dominion/Jem'Hadar Battleship" sitting on my desk, aside a larger Burton Batwing,

I really wanted to keep the Batman insignia outline and make it look really toy-esque (hey, like most, if not all of my designs) and I consider the outcome, an agile, stealthy type of gunship; probably loaded with all kinds of crime-fighting gizmos (and the ever needed, grappling-claws for snatching up bad-guys; amIrite!? XD) auto-pilot capability and enough space to be a mobile lab/BatCave for the world's greatest detective....
