Description
To put Cara to the test, Towa is now guiding her to the outskirts of the event grounds. Away from anyone, away from Toki Toki City, away from any civilization. The demoness knew her enemies well, going so far is to trace their possible whereabouts. And upon closer inspection, she was right, there was a settlement of Darkened right below her and her creation, none of them knowing what is about to transpire. Halting Cara, who stopped in the air by a hand signal for her creator, Towa then turned to her. "As you can see, there are people down there. These people are called the Darkened, corrupted and slaves to their master, not the people they once were. However, we care not for saving them, just killing them is enough. Cara, your mission here is to test yourself against them. First a warning, they can corrupt you, but I have a plan to save you in case you befall to it. Though, I would be most impressed if you manage to avoid their corruption."

Cara was a little busy playing with her fingers, as she was still getting used to her body and life as a demon. Eventually she stopped to look down onto the ground far beneath them. ''These Darkened are the enemy then?'' She confirmed her targets, sensing their energy too. 'KILL THEM!' Towa heard Cara's telepathic voice yell into her head unintentionally. ''I will not let you down mother.'' Cara nodded, before teleporting away.

Cara was feeling confident, and decided to land directly in the center of the settlement, inviting herself to be seen right away. ''It seems that I'm not a fan of stealth..'' Cara noted to herself.

All the Darkened stopped what they were doing and looked at the invader, each taking a ready stance. "Hey, who're you?" One said.

Another acknowledge Cara's design. "She looks like Towa, but she isn't. A demon?"

"Whatever, let's just kill her or corrupt her. Either way, we win." One more said, as he charged and jumped at her alone with energy weapons.

''Kill me? Darling your ki is worthless...'' Cara's finger glowed with a red spark as it shot out at the lunging attacker, paralyzing her in a bolt of electrifying energy. ''Hahaha! Oh this feels wonderful, I am... alive!'' The attacking Darkened member started to become... smaller? So much so until finally a plume of smoke blocked out Cara and the attacker for several seconds. Once the smoke cleared the attacking darkened member looked up to see that Cara had become a giant! Or rather, they had become smaller! Down to the size of a very small action figure. ''Well... I was told I don't have to save you from your corruption... But fear not, for I will relieve you of it in another way...'' Cara's boot slammed down onto the shrunken figure in a sudden stomp.

Few of the Darkened were taken aback by Cara's display of power, some even shaking. "M-Magic? She has magic too? She shrunk him and just-"

"Whatever, she can't take us all on at once!" Another Darkened said as she and 4 other Darkened surrounded her with afterimages, firing ki blasts at Cara.

''Hmm...'' Cara dodged several and had to parry others, as she realized she was capable of sensing their ki and movements. ''Strange, these ones feel...'' She then decided to bite on a ki ball with her teeth, causing many of the incoming blasts to be prematurely exploded. ''Slow...'' Cara smiled as she looked at a stunned darkened member with a lustful stare. ''Your techniques are rather cute, however...'' She shot out a finger ray beam with each hand, and without even looking, two Darkened members fell out of the sky, as beams had passed through both of their skulls. ''This is easy, we're clearly the superior race.'' Cara huffed, adjusting her hair.

The 3 remaining Darkened that are on the offensive stopped, seeing their partners falling from the sky. Looking back to Cara, one of them was clearly angry. "You're a weird freak, just eating a blast and then doing that? You're some kind of abomination!" She yelled, ordering herself and the other 2 Darkened to attack her in a V-formation. One of them jumped with her fists ki-laced, as the other two on the ground went in for melee attacks.

''Freak?'' Cara's eyes snapped. ''Abomination? Me? Because I was made, not born?'' She held onto her head in what appeared to be a crazy episode she was going through. ''WORTHLESS!'' Her telepathic voice crippled the movement of the three remaining darkened, with one of the members ears even bleeding! ''I'll show you... worthless!'' Cara giggled crazily, as she felt herself connecting her control attack onto one of the attackers.

Her body then continued to stand, however her arms dropped sluggishly to her side. Then used the Darkened furthest at the back to shot two energy blasts through the backs of his comrades. The control spell stopped as the Darkened could see he had just killed his two allies against his will.

Cara then calmly walked him down, stepping over some of the dead bodies, smiling all the way. ''Thank you...'' She kissed him on the cheek. ''You were my first fight.'' She then shot a singular finger ray beam through his heart.

The Darkened that was down stood up, seeing her comrade kill two others, and her other comrade bleeding out his ears... but not moving. She concluded he was also dead, perhaps his brain burst by something this freak of nature did. Standing up, thought trembling in fear, she began to charge a ki blast at full power with one of her arms. "No more... You're dying right here, right now!"

Cara turned around, smirking in a relaxed state. ''Ah-ah-ah...'' She raised a finger and swayed it from side to side, indicating that the Darkened was making a mistake. ''You're aim is off isn't it?'' The female Darkened member's hand started to shake before it could fire the ki blast. ''Be a darling and alter the course to get the correct answer now would you?'' The arm then adjusted so the ki blast was pointed at their own head. ''That's it dear, now BANG!'' Cara squeaked with joy, as that Darkened had no choice but to follow through, causing Cara to clap in celebration.

Unable to control herself, she fired. And in an instant, her head was vaporized as her headless body fell, blood squirting from it.

"She's... SHE'S A MONSTER!" One more Darkened said, having half the mind to retreat and run away.

However, for once, there was hope for the Darkened. Cara's head was instantly kicked into the dirt below at blinding speeds, unable to react to it. Stopping, the blur was revealed to be Dark Mizu, wearing the Speed Sash around her waist, one of the Elemental artifacts. "So, it was you doing all this? Impressive, but I am vey much annoyed."

"Ah shit..." Towa said to herself, knowing Mizu was gonna be a problem for Cara.

''Hmm... Your energy is practically glowing, I couldn't track that attack at all!'' Cara smiled at the newcomer. Looking her up and down with a certain, odd expression, Cara tilted her head slightly as she tried to understand this person. ''Your arms are pink?'' She then shook her head, remembering she had a job to do, Towa was watching after all. ''Take this!'' Cara then teleported behind Mizu with a high kick aimed for her head.

Mizu was vibrating very fast, the energy blast practically went through her without any damage done. Stopping, she did a backwards flip kick, sending Cara to the sky. And with her Majin limbs, grabbed her and pulled her down to crash into the ground right back in front of her. "Too slow."

''Tsk-'' Cara's long white hair was easily messed up and covered in dust as she had to adjust it, while wiping her new scuffs. ''I didn't think I'd have to show my full power, but so be it.'' Cara erupted a powerful red aura that shook the ground, equating a power equal to Super Saiyan 3 based on Dark Mizu's assumption. ''Let's see you contend with this!'' Cara blasted the ground underneath Mizu's feet to take away her balance and footing, then proceeded to lash at her directly, hoping to land a kick into her stomach.

With her balance broken, Mizu was forced to take the attack head on. "AH! PEST!" Being kicked and sliding to the ground, the corrupted magician got back up. "Wanna play dirty? Fine, we'll play dirty!" Fire and ice magic erupted from the ground, surrounding and then attacking Cara.

''Rather dumb to use both at the same time.'' Cara observed, simply teleporting away to avoid the danger. ''I have noticed your speed is superior to mine, even in my powered-up state.'' She then dusted herself up as she closed her eyes, connecting to Mizu secretly so she could read her mind and know her next battle plans. 'If I can't outpace her, simply knowing her attacks before she's made them will allow me to counter.' Cara then waved on Mizu towards herself, encouraging an attack.

"Oh? Wanting to die already?" Mizu's plan was simple, go to Cara, use her speed to phase through her and then reappear behind her to fire a point-blank energy blast into her skull.

''Heh!'' Cara smiled as before Mizu even left for the attack, Cara had already deployed countermeasures, and the second Mizu appeared behind Cara, the demoness swiftly had her long tail wrapped around the magician's neck. ''I know it looks fluffy, but as you will see, it can squeeze rather... tightly.'' Cara chuckled, not even having to face Mizu as she had her back turned to her. Mizu's neck then clicked several times and started slanting to one side in a violent manner, as it was clear Cara was intent on breaking her neck. ''You were the strongest I faced so far.'' Cara then looked over her shoulder, proud. ''I wanted you to know that before you die.''

In that moment, Mizu's eyes glowed a bright yellow while looking at Cara, temporarily blinding her and making her let go in reaction. Coughing loudly, Mizu was at least free from death's row. "... Heh, not today."

''Ugh-'' Cara had to lose focus for a moment to rub her eyes. ''Why you-'' She finally opened them, surprised Mizu could escape such a final move.

Standing up, it was clear that Mizu possessed Cara's lower body, her tail included. "I'll be taking these, while you have my old parts."

''W-WHY YOU- WHAT DID YOU DO!?'' Cara exclaimed looking down in anger at herself. Gone were her black boots and blue legs, replaced by Mizu's Darkened attire and parts. She wobbled on slightly unsteady legs, feeling her different height and weight trying to adjust accordingly. Moreover, her energy was different, and she had suffered a significant drop in power, whereas Mizu's had risen.

"It won't be long, your powers, your abilities are very strong. But under my lord's command, you will be a weapon of destruction!" Feeling an odd sensation in her throat, Dark Mizu spat on the ground, causing a small chunk of grass to turn into stone. "Huh? Is that one of your powers?"

''You steal my lower half of my body and my powers! FOOL!'' Cara spat at the ground, to no effect, confirming Mizu had indeed stolen one of the demon's powers.

Strangely enough, Cara's new legs were starting to emit a dark aura, slowly coming up the rest of her body. Mizu took notice and laughed. "Oh more than that, I stole you completely for my lord."

Growling as the once calm Cara was now furious to see her legs and other lower parts now belonging to this slave of some stupid lord. ''I will never betray my creator for the likes of you!''

''CALM!'' Cara resonated telepathically, causing Mizu to flinch slightly. 'Oh?' Cara realized as she took several slower breaths. 'It seems I still some of my powers... enough to win this!' Cara thought to herself.

"Tch, it changes nothing!" Using the sash, Dark Mizu slid under Cara and used her new tail to trip her. Or at least, that was her next move. Cara could see it play out in her head, enough for her to counter accordingly.

Cara's legs were to slow and weak to react fast enough, though luckily she had realized this. She simply used a finger ray beam to shoot Mizu in her tail before it could trip Cara. ''No one uses my body parts against me like that, I suppose you think you're incredibly funny don't you?'' Cara then kicked Mizu in the chin sending her some distance. ''Tsk-'' She then realized it caused minor damage, her new foot lacked power.

"GUH!" Mizu tumbled and rolled along the ground, but flipped back up. "Grr... You're fighting a losing battle! But since you won't give up, I'll have to knock you out while you get corrupted! FREEZER BURN!" Using both her hands, Mizu sent a storm of fire and ice onto Cara. Though, in using this powerful technique, the magician was wide open.

Cara leapt up to avoid the flame, however it seems she didn't jump high enough, as her legs were caught in a blanket of thick ice, bringing her back down to the ground. ''Heh, now you're darkly magic can no longer work it's charm.'' Cara hoped, although she wasn't entirely sure it was certain. No matter, she still had one more trick up her sleeve, she just needed Mizu to lower her guard and engage in dialogue. ''Hmm... I'm not so sure this plan is working, I can still... feel this energy inside me.''

"Good, there is no escape from Dark's corruption." Mizu stopped her attack, walking closer to Cara to gloat in her victory. "You really thought you could go toe-to-toe with the Darkened did you? Though strong, you're not stronger than I, the great magician Mizu! By the way, thanks for the lower body and the spit, I'll have fun using it for myself even after you become one of us."

''What makes you think even if I swapped teams I'd allow someone to keep my parts?'' Cara just needed a little more time to compose herself. However, her upper body twitched slightly as a surge of strange energy flowed through her.

"Think? You think you have a choice in this? No, the choice has already been made for you. Like it or not, you'll become one of us." Once close enough, Mizu put her new foot on Cara's head, to assert her dominance.

"Tch..." In the air, Towa look downward and held the Purple Star. "Don't make me save you, you're better than this Cara..."

Cara didn't expect this method of gloating, her method wouldn't work whilst Mizu had her foot on Cara's head. ''Get off me! I will not allow you to make a mockery of me with my own foot! Stand back down and you will see me not only break free from this ice, but also defeat you and then defeat your lord! I swear it!'' Cara had a vein at this point popping out of her neck as though strained, after a moment it glowed black for a second, as a strange energy moved through it.

"Ohoho? You would even dare do such a thing?" Mizu backed up a few steps, this doesn't intimidate her in the slightest. But killing Lord Dark was out of the question, this had to be a bluff. "Then show me, with what little time you have left. And when you can't and lose hope for yourself, only then will I allow you to become one of us!"

''Heheh! This energy feels wonderful I must say!'' Cara felt it flow into her arms as well. ''BUT YOU ARE A FOOL!'' Cara then invaded Mizu's mind, as the magician crazily looked down against her will and spat several times on herself! Each spit hit a different limb of hers, which then rapidly spread turning to stone. Cara then shot an eye beam into the glass to escape and created some distance, victory was assured now.

"NGH!" She tried to cover her mouth, but it failed as her arms were already turned to stone, just like her new legs. Losing balance and unable to gain any, Dark Mizu fell to the ground, unable to free herself. "What just happened?!"

''You thought I'd let you use my legs and even my private parts without consequence? If I can't use them then no one can.'' Cara shot out coldly as Mizu's face now froze in a stone structure of herself, unable to move and talk anymore. Cara sighed. ''It is done. However I am now a failure to my creator...'' Cara looked down in disgust at her new parts.

However her anger was interrupted was a blue haired girl with peach white skin. ''Congratulations contestant Cara, that was a great fight to watch!'' She bowed.

''Huh? Who are you?'' Cara raised an eyebrow.

''Why I am Carys of course! The Goddess overseeing this tournament! And as a winner, you may wish anything within my power from the loser. I am at your command.'' She smiled while rubbing her hands slightly, awaiting Cara's reply.

''A wish? Well this works out rather excellently doesn't it?'' Cara smirked. ''I wish for my body parts and powers that were stolen to be restored and swapped back!''

Carys nodded, and clapped her hands, as Cara the demon felt a funny sensation in her lower half as her parts morphed back onto place. ''Well done! I look forward to seeing you fight again!'' Carys smiled and then disappeared.

Wind flowed through Cara's hair on the now silent battlefield. She had won. ''Ugh!'' The demoness buckled onto the ground, as she grabbed her chest in pain. ''What's happening!?''

All the Darkened that saw the battle went over to look at Mizu, she was petrified, all except to her lower body which was not turned to stone. A smoke bomb was tossed, surrounding the area in smoke. As Dark Mizu's legs glowed, using what magic she had left to spare to fight this petrified state, Dark Leana came from the trees and picked her up. "All Darkened, retreat! Get away from this monster!"

Cara noticed multiple silhouettes in the shroud of smoke, as then ran and flew away from her. Though despite her victory, there was still 1 problem: Dark's corruption. When Mizu swapped lower bodies with Cara, the corruption was spread into her and took action. Though luckily, the smoke blew away and Towa descended in front of her creation. "Cara, you were ruthless against them. I must say, I was rather surprised you exceeded my expectations with your current power."

Cara was sweating, and surprised at what her creator had said to her. ''No, I-'' Her eyes flashed red as the energy effortlessly coursed through her body, her evil heart working against her now. ''I am a failure.'' The sensation engulfing her was electrifying! However, her guilt of disappointing Towa outweighed it... for now at least. As each second that passed, the balance tipped the other way ever so slightly. ''I underestimated that magician, she was faster than I...''

"Never say such things, what you did just now was anything but a failure. Besides, with more time, you will grow ever more powerful. Cara, you made me very proud today. Now stay still, this will hurt." With the Purple Star, Towa plunged it into Cara's chest, it stared glowing and was now expelling the corruption from within her body. "This will take some time, but you must tolerate it for now."

A shrieking scream echoed across the land and also through Towa's mind, as Cara's pain couldn't contain her roar. She also felt slightly strange, almost though she was getting weaker as this new dark energy was now leaving her.

Using her magic to pick Cara up, Towa showed a smile at her creation's successful test run. "Now then, how about we go back and can get some rest?"

Cara noticed her eyes getting heavy as she finally felt back to normal, however her muscles felt like jelly. ''I don't... need...'' Her eyes shut as she was now drained, clearly the removal of the dark energy was enough to finish her off, however she was at least content in knowing Towa wasn't mad, as the new demoness fell asleep.

"Looks like that's a yes." Waving her staff, both Towa and Cara teleported out of their location and back to their lair.

Meanwhile, bBack at Dark Argona's chambers, the goddess was watching the fight through a giant crystal ball. Appearing behind her was none other than Carys. ''Watching the new contestant too my Queen?'' Carys bowed. ''I was just about to ask you about her, it seems she has arrived out of nowhere, matching none of my previously held records. However, she overcame some rather big odds today.''

Levitating her crystal ball up, Argona turned to Carys. "It's quite odd, I was unable to determine her origin at first. However, from watching, I can already determine that she wasn't born, but rather made by that demon Towa."

''I see...'' Carys put a finger next to her chin. ''Interesting, and rare for someone to not only get her body back in the same fight, but also to destroy this Darkened infection! Their lord must be rather annoyed to lose such a fine prospect, don't you think?''

"Yes, very much so. Besides, I am fine with a creature as ugly as him to suffer losses." Forcing himself to say such things with Argona's body, Dark never once liked to see him or his Darkened on the losing end. What's worse was that he could do nothing about it, given his current position as the Goddess.

''OH, another lesser fight result demands my attention. I fare thee well my Queen.'' Carys bowed before disappearing again, allowing Dark some alone time finally.

It was very clear that Dark Argona was very tired just sitting and watching all of this with the inability to do anything, her aura rose up in anger, but she calmed herself as to not get carried away. One misstep, and then Argona would know what Dark is planning. "My corruption isn't completely out of Cara yet, perhaps there's still some time to tell her the truth." Leaving, Argona went back into her room.

Now back at the base, Towa placed a sleeping Cara into her bed, and left her to recover, as the demoness was still sweating and bruised from her last fight. As Towa left Cara to herself, the artificial creation felt... strange. The Purple Star was meant to repeal possessive and corruptive forces out, yet Cara heard a voice in her head. "Cara..." The voice said in her head. It sounded distorted, as well as male.

''Ngh-'' Cara shifted uncomfortably in her bed. ''Who are you?'' She called, as her eyes remained shut.

"Hmm... Let's just say that I am the person who knows the truth about you, thought you're mind is... divided into two. One calm, one full of rage." Dark's form in Cara's mind shifted into a black humanoid silhouette with red eyes.

''Are you calling me a freak?'' Cara's voice then went from calm to angry. ''ABOMINATION!'' She yelled throughout the void unintentionally. ''Whatever I may be, I have but one goal, to serve my creator.''

Dark scoffed, as Cara found herself... two of herself in a black empty voice facing Dark. "Ah, it seems you are here now looking at me. But, you're creator is hiding some secrets from you." Dark floated to the light blue Cara, the calm one, and went past the orange Cara, the angry one. "Other than knowing she has created you, what else do you know about her?"

''Is this one of her tests?'' The blue version of Cara asked.

''OUR ONLY GOAL IS TO SERVE!'' The angry orange one shouted.

This caused the calm blue Cara to nod in response. ''She is correct. Towa gifted us life, we owe her our service. It is not our place to question her, she will gift us with information as sees fit.''

''YOU WILL NOT TRICK US!'' The orange one finished, causing the blue Cara to crack a smile.

"Who said anything about tricking you? She may have gifted you with life, but everyone has the right to their own freedom. Besides, she hasn't told you your origin Cara... or should I say Cai?" Dark smirked, he already knew of what as happened thanks to Argona's foresight.

''Who is Cai?'' Blue Cara asked cautiously, causing the angry version to lash out.

''IT'S A TRAP! LIES!''

''And more to the point, who are you?'' The calm Cara was starting to wonder about the void they were in, was she still sleeping as she previously thought?

Dark held up his hand, knowing Cara's thoughts. "This void is in your sleep, we're talking through your mind and my power being currently connected. As for who Cai is... Cai is you, you are Cai. You forgot yourself, she made you forget about who you were. As Cai, I helped you see through Towa's lies and you were about to kill her... but then you died, and she used your corpse and soul to transform you into Cara."

''LIAR!'' This time, both versions of Cara shouted together.

The blue version of Cara grabbed her head, with blurs hitting her memory. ''GET IT OUT IT HURTS!''

Meanwhile the orange Cara started to spread to the point where the entire dreamscape was on fire. ''YOU WILL NOT STOP US! YOU'RE HIM AREN'T YOU? THE ENERGY WE FELT FROM BEFORE?'' The angry Cara screamed.

The fire didn't affect Dark, however it was so ravenous that it caused the sleeping, sweating, and twitching body of Cara to shoot out a ki blast in the lab, alerting Towa almost immediately.

The calm Cara was too busy shaking her head from the pain, not wanting these words to be true. ''Make it stop, please!''

The void started to collapse, the remaining corruptive energy of Dark within Cara was being expelled and destroyed as she was about to wake up. "All I ask is for you to ask her about it then, and if she dodges the question or doesn't acknowledge it, then you'll know she's hiding something from you!"

The blue Cara slowly lifted her head in a sulk, as her wide eyes looked tearful. Before she could reply, the floor underneath her within the void gave way.

Cara awoke in a fit as her body was violently twitching, she noticed Towa once again towering over her with the Purple Star embedded in her chest once more, expelling the remnants of dark energy. The Demoness now free from this corruptive energy, let out one loud cry before collapsing back unconscious. "CAI!!!"

''This is easy, we're clearly the superior race.'' Cara huffed, adjusting her hair.

The 3 remaining Darkened that are on the offensive stopped, seeing their partners falling from the sky. Looking back to Cara, one of them was clearly angry. "You're a weird freak, just eating a blast and then doing that? You're some kind of abomination!" She yelled, ordering herself and the other 2 Darkened to attack her in a V-formation. One of them jumped with her fists ki-laced, as the other two on the ground went in for melee attacks.

''Freak?'' Cara's eyes snapped. ''Abomination? Me? Because I was made, not born?'' She held onto her head in what appeared to be a crazy episode she was going through. ''WORTHLESS!'' Her telepathic voice crippled the movement of the three remaining darkened, with one of the members ears even bleeding! ''I'll show you... worthless!'' Cara giggled crazily, as she felt herself connecting her control attack onto one of the attackers.

Her body then continued to stand, however her arms dropped sluggishly to her side. Then used the Darkened furthest at the back to shot two energy blasts through the backs of his comrades. The control spell stopped as the Darkened could see he had just killed his two allies against his will.

Cara then calmly walked him down, stepping over some of the dead bodies, smiling all the way. ''Thank you...'' She kissed him on the cheek. ''You were my first fight.'' She then shot a singular finger ray beam through his heart.

The Darkened that was down stood up, seeing her comrade kill two others, and her other comrade bleeding out his ears... but not moving. She concluded he was also dead, perhaps his brain burst by something this freak of nature did. Standing up, thought trembling in fear, she began to charge a ki blast at full power with one of her arms. "No more... You're dying right here, right now!"

Cara turned around, smirking in a relaxed state. ''Ah-ah-ah...'' She raised a finger and swayed it from side to side, indicating that the Darkened was making a mistake. ''You're aim is off isn't it?'' The female Darkened member's hand started to shake before it could fire the ki blast. ''Be a darling and alter the course to get the correct answer now would you?'' The arm then adjusted so the ki blast was pointed at their own head. ''That's it dear, now BANG!'' Cara squeaked with joy, as that Darkened had no choice but to follow through, causing Cara to clap in celebration.

Unable to control herself, she fired. And in an instant, her head was vaporized as her headless body fell, blood squirting from it.

"She's... SHE'S A MONSTER!" One more Darkened said, having half the mind to retreat and run away.

However, for once, there was hope for the Darkened. Cara's head was instantly kicked into the dirt below at blinding speeds, unable to react to it. Stopping, the blur was revealed to be Dark Mizu, wearing the Speed Sash around her waist, one of the Elemental artifacts. "So, it was you doing all this? Impressive, but I am vey much annoyed."

"Ah shit..." Towa said to herself, knowing Mizu was gonna be a problem for Cara.

''Hmm... Your energy is practically glowing, I couldn't track that attack at all!'' Cara smiled at the newcomer. Looking her up and down with a certain, odd expression, Cara tilted her head slightly as she tried to understand this person. ''Your arms are pink?'' She then shook her head, remembering she had a job to do, Towa was watching after all. ''Take this!'' Cara then teleported behind Mizu with a high kick aimed for her head.

Mizu was vibrating very fast, the energy blast practically went through her without any damage done. Stopping, she did a backwards flip kick, sending Cara to the sky. And with her Majin limbs, grabbed her and pulled her down to crash into the ground right back in front of her. "Too slow."

''Tsk-'' Cara's long white hair was easily messed up and covered in dust as she had to adjust it, while wiping her new scuffs. ''I didn't think I'd have to show my full power, but so be it.'' Cara erupted a powerful red aura that shook the ground, equating a power equal to Super Saiyan 3 based on Dark Mizu's assumption. ''Let's see you contend with this!'' Cara blasted the ground underneath Mizu's feet to take away her balance and footing, then proceeded to lash at her directly, hoping to land a kick into her stomach.

With her balance broken, Mizu was forced to take the attack head on. "AH! PEST!" Being kicked and sliding to the ground, the corrupted magician got back up. "Wanna play dirty? Fine, we'll play dirty!" Fire and ice magic erupted from the ground, surrounding and then attacking Cara.

''Rather dumb to use both at the same time.'' Cara observed, simply teleporting away to avoid the danger. ''I have noticed your speed is superior to mine, even in my powered-up state.'' She then dusted herself up as she closed her eyes, connecting to Mizu secretly so she could read her mind and know her next battle plans. 'If I can't outpace her, simply knowing her attacks before she's made them will allow me to counter.' Cara then waved on Mizu towards herself, encouraging an attack.

"Oh? Wanting to die already?" Mizu's plan was simple, go to Cara, use her speed to phase through her and then reappear behind her to fire a point-blank energy blast into her skull.

''Heh!'' Cara smiled as before Mizu even left for the attack, Cara had already deployed countermeasures, and the second Mizu appeared behind Cara, the demoness swiftly had her long tail wrapped around the magician's neck. ''I know it looks fluffy, but as you will see, it can squeeze rather... tightly.'' Cara chuckled, not even having to face Mizu as she had her back turned to her. Mizu's neck then clicked several times and started slanting to one side in a violent manner, as it was clear Cara was intent on breaking her neck. ''You were the strongest I faced so far.'' Cara then looked over her shoulder, proud. ''I wanted you to know that before you die.''

In that moment, Mizu's eyes glowed a bright yellow while looking at Cara, temporarily blinding her and making her let go in reaction. Coughing loudly, Mizu was at least free from death's row. "... Heh, not today."

''Ugh-'' Cara had to lose focus for a moment to rub her eyes. ''Why you-'' She finally opened them, surprised Mizu could escape such a final move.

Standing up, it was clear that Mizu possessed Cara's lower body, her tail included. "I'll be taking these, while you have my old parts."

''W-WHY YOU- WHAT DID YOU DO!?'' Cara exclaimed looking down in anger at herself. Gone were her black boots and blue legs, replaced by Mizu's Darkened attire and parts. She wobbled on slightly unsteady legs, feeling her different height and weight trying to adjust accordingly. Moreover, her energy was different, and she had suffered a significant drop in power, whereas Mizu's had risen.

"It won't be long, your powers, your abilities are very strong. But under my lord's command, you will be a weapon of destruction!" Feeling an odd sensation in her throat, Dark Mizu spat on the ground, causing a small chunk of grass to turn into stone. "Huh? Is that one of your powers?"

''You steal my lower half of my body and my powers! FOOL!'' Cara spat at the ground, to no effect, confirming Mizu had indeed stolen one of the demon's powers.

Strangely enough, Cara's new legs were starting to emit a dark aura, slowly coming up the rest of her body. Mizu took notice and laughed. "Oh more than that, I stole you completely for my lord."

Growling as the once calm Cara was now furious to see her legs and other lower parts now belonging to this slave of some stupid lord. ''I will never betray my creator for the likes of you!''

''CALM!'' Cara resonated telepathically, causing Mizu to flinch slightly. 'Oh?' Cara realized as she took several slower breaths. 'It seems I still some of my powers... enough to win this!' Cara thought to herself.

"Tch, it changes nothing!" Using the sash, Dark Mizu slid under Cara and used her new tail to trip her. Or at least, that was her next move. Cara could see it play out in her head, enough for her to counter accordingly.

Cara's legs were to slow and weak to react fast enough, though luckily she had realized this. She simply used a finger ray beam to shoot Mizu in her tail before it could trip Cara. ''No one uses my body parts against me like that, I suppose you think you're incredibly funny don't you?'' Cara then kicked Mizu in the chin sending her some distance. ''Tsk-'' She then realized it caused minor damage, her new foot lacked power.

"GUH!" Mizu tumbled and rolled along the ground, but flipped back up. "Grr... You're fighting a losing battle! But since you won't give up, I'll have to knock you out while you get corrupted! FREEZER BURN!" Using both her hands, Mizu sent a storm of fire and ice onto Cara. Though, in using this powerful technique, the magician was wide open.

Cara leapt up to avoid the flame, however it seems she didn't jump high enough, as her legs were caught in a blanket of thick ice, bringing her back down to the ground. ''Heh, now you're darkly magic can no longer work it's charm.'' Cara hoped, although she wasn't entirely sure it was certain. No matter, she still had one more trick up her sleeve, she just needed Mizu to lower her guard and engage in dialogue. ''Hmm... I'm not so sure this plan is working, I can still... feel this energy inside me.''

"Good, there is no escape from Dark's corruption." Mizu stopped her attack, walking closer to Cara to gloat in her victory. "You really thought you could go toe-to-toe with the Darkened did you? Though strong, you're not stronger than I, the great magician Mizu! By the way, thanks for the lower body and the spit, I'll have fun using it for myself even after you become one of us."

''What makes you think even if I swapped teams I'd allow someone to keep my parts?'' Cara just needed a little more time to compose herself. However, her upper body twitched slightly as a surge of strange energy flowed through her.

"Think? You think you have a choice in this? No, the choice has already been made for you. Like it or not, you'll become one of us." Once close enough, Mizu put her new foot on Cara's head, to assert her dominance.

"Tch..." In the air, Towa look downward and held the Purple Star. "Don't make me save you, you're better than this Cara..."

Cara didn't expect this method of gloating, her method wouldn't work whilst Mizu had her foot on Cara's head. ''Get off me! I will not allow you to make a mockery of me with my own foot! Stand back down and you will see me not only break free from this ice, but also defeat you and then defeat your lord! I swear it!'' Cara had a vein at this point popping out of her neck as though strained, after a moment it glowed black for a second, as a strange energy moved through it.

"Ohoho? You would even dare do such a thing?" Mizu backed up a few steps, this doesn't intimidate her in the slightest. But killing Lord Dark was out of the question, this had to be a bluff. "Then show me, with what little time you have left. And when you can't and lose hope for yourself, only then will I allow you to become one of us!"

''Heheh! This energy feels wonderful I must say!'' Cara felt it flow into her arms as well. ''BUT YOU ARE A FOOL!'' Cara then invaded Mizu's mind, as the magician crazily looked down against her will and spat several times on herself! Each spit hit a different limb of hers, which then rapidly spread turning to stone. Cara then shot an eye beam into the glass to escape and created some distance, victory was assured now.

"NGH!" She tried to cover her mouth, but it failed as her arms were already turned to stone, just like her new legs. Losing balance and unable to gain any, Dark Mizu fell to the ground, unable to free herself. "What just happened?!"

''You thought I'd let you use my legs and even my private parts without consequence? If I can't use them then no one can.'' Cara shot out coldly as Mizu's face now froze in a stone structure of herself, unable to move and talk anymore. Cara sighed. ''It is done. However I am now a failure to my creator...'' Cara looked down in disgust at her new parts.

However her anger was interrupted was a blue haired girl with peach white skin. ''Congratulations contestant Cara, that was a great fight to watch!'' She bowed.

''Huh? Who are you?'' Cara raised an eyebrow.

''Why I am Carys of course! The Goddess overseeing this tournament! And as a winner, you may wish anything within my power from the loser. I am at your command.'' She smiled while rubbing her hands slightly, awaiting Cara's reply.

''A wish? Well this works out rather excellently doesn't it?'' Cara smirked. ''I wish for my body parts and powers that were stolen to be restored and swapped back!''

Carys nodded, and clapped her hands, as Cara the demon felt a funny sensation in her lower half as her parts morphed back onto place. ''Well done! I look forward to seeing you fight again!'' Carys smiled and then disappeared.

Wind flowed through Cara's hair on the now silent battlefield. She had won. ''Ugh!'' The demoness buckled onto the ground, as she grabbed her chest in pain. ''What's happening!?''

All the Darkened that saw the battle went over to look at Mizu, she was petrified, all except to her lower body which was not turned to stone. A smoke bomb was tossed, surrounding the area in smoke. As Dark Mizu's legs glowed, using what magic she had left to spare to fight this petrified state, Dark Leana came from the trees and picked her up. "All Darkened, retreat! Get away from this monster!"

Cara noticed multiple silhouettes in the shroud of smoke, as then ran and flew away from her. Though despite her victory, there was still 1 problem: Dark's corruption. When Mizu swapped lower bodies with Cara, the corruption was spread into her and took action. Though luckily, the smoke blew away and Towa descended in front of her creation. "Cara, you were ruthless against them. I must say, I was rather surprised you exceeded my expectations with your current power."

Cara was sweating, and surprised at what her creator had said to her. ''No, I-'' Her eyes flashed red as the energy effortlessly coursed through her body, her evil heart working against her now. ''I am a failure.'' The sensation engulfing her was electrifying! However, her guilt of disappointing Towa outweighed it... for now at least. As each second that passed, the balance tipped the other way ever so slightly. ''I underestimated that magician, she was faster than I...''

"Never say such things, what you did just now was anything but a failure. Besides, with more time, you will grow ever more powerful. Cara, you made me very proud today. Now stay still, this will hurt." With the Purple Star, Towa plunged it into Cara's chest, it stared glowing and was now expelling the corruption from within her body. "This will take some time, but you must tolerate it for now."

A shrieking scream echoed across the land and also through Towa's mind, as Cara's pain couldn't contain her roar. She also felt slightly strange, almost though she was getting weaker as this new dark energy was now leaving her.

Using her magic to pick Cara up, Towa showed a smile at her creation's successful test run. "Now then, how about we go back and can get some rest?"

Cara noticed her eyes getting heavy as she finally felt back to normal, however her muscles felt like jelly. ''I don't... need...'' Her eyes shut as she was now drained, clearly the removal of the dark energy was enough to finish her off, however she was at least content in knowing Towa wasn't mad, as the new demoness fell asleep.

"Looks like that's a yes." Waving her staff, both Towa and Cara teleported out of their location and back to their lair.

Meanwhile, bBack at Dark Argona's chambers, the goddess was watching the fight through a giant crystal ball. Appearing behind her was none other than Carys. ''Watching the new contestant too my Queen?'' Carys bowed. ''I was just about to ask you about her, it seems she has arrived out of nowhere, matching none of my previously held records. However, she overcame some rather big odds today.''

Levitating her crystal ball up, Argona turned to Carys. "It's quite odd, I was unable to determine her origin at first. However, from watching, I can already determine that she wasn't born, but rather made by that demon Towa."

''I see...'' Carys put a finger next to her chin. ''Interesting, and rare for someone to not only get her body back in the same fight, but also to destroy this Darkened infection! Their lord must be rather annoyed to lose such a fine prospect, don't you think?''

"Yes, very much so. Besides, I am fine with a creature as ugly as him to suffer losses." Forcing himself to say such things with Argona's body, Dark never once liked to see him or his Darkened on the losing end. What's worse was that he could do nothing about it, given his current position as the Goddess.

''OH, another lesser fight result demands my attention. I fare thee well my Queen.'' Carys bowed before disappearing again, allowing Dark some alone time finally.

It was very clear that Dark Argona was very tired just sitting and watching all of this with the inability to do anything, her aura rose up in anger, but she calmed herself as to not get carried away. One misstep, and then Argona would know what Dark is planning. "My corruption isn't completely out of Cara yet, perhaps there's still some time to tell her the truth." Leaving, Argona went back into her room.

Now back at the base, Towa placed a sleeping Cara into her bed, and left her to recover, as the demoness was still sweating and bruised from her last fight. As Towa left Cara to herself, the artificial creation felt... strange. The Purple Star was meant to repeal possessive and corruptive forces out, yet Cara heard a voice in her head. "Cara..." The voice said in her head. It sounded distorted, as well as male.

''Ngh-'' Cara shifted uncomfortably in her bed. ''Who are you?'' She called, as her eyes remained shut.

"Hmm... Let's just say that I am the person who knows the truth about you, thought you're mind is... divided into two. One calm, one full of rage." Dark's form in Cara's mind shifted into a black humanoid silhouette with red eyes.

''Are you calling me a freak?'' Cara's voice then went from calm to angry. ''ABOMINATION!'' She yelled throughout the void unintentionally. ''Whatever I may be, I have but one goal, to serve my creator.''

Dark scoffed, as Cara found herself... two of herself in a black empty voice facing Dark. "Ah, it seems you are here now looking at me. But, you're creator is hiding some secrets from you." Dark floated to the light blue Cara, the calm one, and went past the orange Cara, the angry one. "Other than knowing she has created you, what else do you know about her?"

''Is this one of her tests?'' The blue version of Cara asked.

''OUR ONLY GOAL IS TO SERVE!'' The angry orange one shouted.

This caused the calm blue Cara to nod in response. ''She is correct. Towa gifted us life, we owe her our service. It is not our place to question her, she will gift us with information as sees fit.''

''YOU WILL NOT TRICK US!'' The orange one finished, causing the blue Cara to crack a smile.

"Who said anything about tricking you? She may have gifted you with life, but everyone has the right to their own freedom. Besides, she hasn't told you your origin Cara... or should I say Cai?" Dark smirked, he already knew of what as happened thanks to Argona's foresight.

''Who is Cai?'' Blue Cara asked cautiously, causing the angry version to lash out.

''IT'S A TRAP! LIES!''

''And more to the point, who are you?'' The calm Cara was starting to wonder about the void they were in, was she still sleeping as she previously thought?

Dark held up his hand, knowing Cara's thoughts. "This void is in your sleep, we're talking through your mind and my power being currently connected. As for who Cai is... Cai is you, you are Cai. You forgot yourself, she made you forget about who you were. As Cai, I helped you see through Towa's lies and you were about to kill her... but then you died, and she used your corpse and soul to transform you into Cara."

''LIAR!'' This time, both versions of Cara shouted together.

The blue version of Cara grabbed her head, with blurs hitting her memory. ''GET IT OUT IT HURTS!''

Meanwhile the orange Cara started to spread to the point where the entire dreamscape was on fire. ''YOU WILL NOT STOP US! YOU'RE HIM AREN'T YOU? THE ENERGY WE FELT FROM BEFORE?'' The angry Cara screamed.

The fire didn't affect Dark, however it was so ravenous that it caused the sleeping, sweating, and twitching body of Cara to shoot out a ki blast in the lab, alerting Towa almost immediately.

The calm Cara was too busy shaking her head from the pain, not wanting these words to be true. ''Make it stop, please!''

The void started to collapse, the remaining corruptive energy of Dark within Cara was being expelled and destroyed as she was about to wake up. "All I ask is for you to ask her about it then, and if she dodges the question or doesn't acknowledge it, then you'll know she's hiding something from you!"

The blue Cara slowly lifted her head in a sulk, as her wide eyes looked tearful. Before she could reply, the floor underneath her within the void gave way.

Cara awoke in a fit as her body was violently twitching, she noticed Towa once again towering over her with the Purple Star embedded in her chest once more, expelling the remnants of dark energy. The Demoness now free from this corruptive energy, let out one loud cry before collapsing back unconscious. "CAI!!!"
