Description
An old Great Western railway carriage used as a shed on a smallholding (farm). This was typical in the days when railway vehicles were made of wood, wagon and carriage bodies were sometimes sold off as surplus for everyday use. Near where I used to live, a very old and potentially valuable four wheel carriage body was rotting away on an allotment garden. They couldn't get a crane in to remove it, too awkward, and there was no way to remove it, so it gradually disintegrated.
