Project 2: In which we were to take three historically significant dates or events (that also connected in some way to one another) to write a small blurb about - then express each of the three individually in an 8x8 panel. Again, for each panel as with Project 1, we could not use anything but letterforms to create the visual interpretations. (well, the background excluded)

First: The Battle of Hastings (changed the way we speak the English language)

Second: The Printing Press (changed our literacy by having books and other such literature more at hand to the general public)

Third: The History of Paper (changed our accessibility to the written word by making it more easily transportable - also affected literacy)

I connected the three by stating they are all a part of the evolution of communication.

++ I have used fonts here from dafont.com again, and all rights are respective to their creators, as per usual.
