Description
++Project 3 in which we create a 2-page spread that details our "report" on a font of our choosing (from the 12 that she had listed in class, I picked Courier - however, Courier New is shown here due to issues my computer was having with it, we'll see if I get marked down for that...)
The information as well as the pictures were to be found on the internet. The pictures are located at the following websites, and belong to the respective sites:

As for the information within my article, the websites I found my information can be found at the lower right hand side.
The purpose of this particular project was to get us accostomed to using grids. They are actually more difficult for me to use than I imagined, however, they help a whole lot with certain aspects. I like this far better than the previous project, but it seems fairly boring. We'll see how I fare.

Who knew reading about Courier could be so interesting? Until now I'd never thought about the history of a typeface before.

Yes, it was odd. I've known others who have gone through the same class, and they got to write their essay on whatever they wanted. Here, though - my class was asked to pick one of the fonts she had listed.
Meh. I mean, I like courier, so I was excited It's fun to learn about random things like that. Naturally I'm biased, so I thought My font was better than everyone else's. No one else did Courier. We got a whole lot of Futura and Zapfino though. *grumble*
As a side note, I got a really poor grade on this because I didn't turn in my rough drafts on time nor did I do the final work correctly; apparently the font wasn't supposed to change size at all (which I did here and there) so... whatever. I still liked the way it came out though.
