SF IV Chun-Li: Cartoony expression with lesser graphics but with thick muscularity indicative of a fighting fighter on our right|
SF V Chun-Li: Mean expression indicative of a tough mind but with a soft/less thick body less likely to be a fighter on our left|
This isn't even something I'm unfamiliar with in general video games and not entirely just with women| Tha better tha technology/graphics get so it goes tha fewer things you can do through features being removed & so 4th haphazardly| An instance not directly involving women is how you're no longer allowed to lug around a full-on armory in your back pocket with most 1st person shooters these days| Tying tha previous citation back to women is you could have the armory at all times in AL|EN adaptations starring Ripley up to tha Ps1 then you played as a male on Ps3 and you can only have 3 weapons at a time or 2 if you picked up a Smartgun|
The example I was directly thinking of was how you could totally take your female(CAW)character into Career Mode and ANY match they had in WWF Attitude Ps1/N64/Dreamcast| You can't do any of that without mods in WWe SvR '06 on Ps2 but you can make just gargantuan size women with muscularity to match that didn't bleed like in Attitude and weren't allowed in any Main Event matches nor Season Mode for some reason| That makes even less sense when you consider that a Hardcore match in that game was very much just a regular match with DQ off so start a no DQ match with women and you've basically got a Hardcore match that tha game just doesn't refer to as such is all that's missing| Now we have the WWe 2k games(I'm only familiar with because an acquaintance has it & I 4got which exact one it was)on Ps3 and I think it allowed women back beyond mostly regular matches and in Season Mode but mostly because you created tha story therein but women were NOT allowed the massive sizes you could reach prior|

I love the Street Fighter V design better because it looks like they based it off her Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike design

Honestly, I prefer the SF4 design for a lot of reasons. I really hate that Capcom made Chun less thick, because personally, I feel that her thickness is a part of her character and aesthetic appeal. Her thickness is a testament to her physical strength, obviously, but most importantly, her inner strength as a woman. Chun doesn't seem like the type of person who's interested in how others perceive her appearance, so I appreciated the plumpness of her SF4 body. And while her SF5 design is arguably more toned and realistic, I feel it unnecessarily sacrifices the aforementioned qualities. Also, her new face is less round and the expression is meaner, which, again, doesn't represent Chun's personality, her being optimistic and compassionate. So, yeah. SF4 Chun > SF5 Chun.

SF4 Chun-Li > SF 5 Chun-Li
They toned down Chun-Li's muscles and made her legs look softer! And by de-emphasizing Chun-Li's muscularity, by making Chun-Li's legs look softer, they made her legs look flabbier! I fucking hate you, Capcom!

I see SFV Chun-li's got more detailed shoes. Lovely. Detailed sash with a dragon tattoo on it,bigger spikes,a softer body and a qipao that is just the right soft. Luscious kissable lips btw.

V's legs don't look horrible. Face looks a lot nicer, too.

SFV Chun looks overall better (the designs on her qipao are more smoother). Also she has a smaller collar than SFIV

SFIV ones look like painted-white spikes, but the new ones look naturally silver.
